PLATE NO.5

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a problem set with complete solution. Three problems for
Simple Curve and three for Compound Curve.

NOTE: Images are created in AUTOCAD 2018.

Problem No.1
PC is at Sta. 0+800. The radius of the circular curve is 200 m. Compute
the right angle offset form Sta. 0+740 on the curve to tangent through PC.

PROBLEM NO.3
A circular curve has a middle ordinate of 3 m and a long chord length of 80 m.
Find the degree of the curve using arch basis.
