DESCRIPTION
Scabies is a skin condition caused
by small parasites (mites) that
get into the skin, where they lay
eggs, causing itching and rashes.
It’s transmitted during sex.
Scabies isn’t dangerous and can
be cured.

SYMPTOMS
Severe itching that worsens at night.
Pimple-like rashes with blisters
Thin lines (furrow marks) on the skin.
Acne
Babies will probably have a rash all over their body.
ulcers on the skin from scratching

METHODS TO PREVENT
Wash all clothes and sheets. Heat kills
mites and their eggs.
Do not allow mites to feed.
Clean and vacuum.
Don’t have intimate contact with anyone.
