I am writing to express my interest and concern in the topic of sustainability and to share a project
I am currently working on. I am a student committed to promoting practices and solutions that
contribute to the care of the environment and sustainable development.

My project aims to improve the efficiency of a wind turbine to produce clean and renewable
energy. As we know, wind turbines have proven to be an effective source of renewable energy, but
their efficiency is limited and they are affected by weather conditions, which reduces their ability
to generate electricity.

My proposal seeks to improve the efficiency of wind turbines through the use of innovative
technologies and more efficient designs. The idea is to work on the optimization of the geometry
of the turbine blades to improve their ability to capture wind energy, as well as on the
improvement of the efficiency of the transmission of electricity generated by the turbine.

In addition, within my project, I am exploring the implementation of vertical wind turbines, as

these present a number of advantages over traditional horizontal wind turbines. These advantages
include greater resistance to adverse weather conditions, less environmental impact, and greater
efficiency in urban areas.

In the region where I live, the use of wind turbines has not yet been widely adopted, so I believe
there is a great opportunity to promote their use and raise awareness among society about their
importance in the fight against climate change and the protection of the environment.

That is why I would like to know what initiatives and programs your university carries out in this
field. I believe that institutions of higher education have an important social responsibility to
promote sustainable practices and foster a culture of sustainability among their students, teachers,
and administrative staff.

In particular, I am interested in knowing what policies your university has to reduce its carbon
footprint in its operations and facilities. I would also like to know if your university has plans to
incorporate renewable energy into its infrastructure and to promote sustainable mobility among
its members.

Additionally, I would like to know if your university has research programs on sustainability topics
and if they are open to student participation. I would be very interested in actively contributing to
research projects and developing solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world.
