Desk Clerk (Receptionist)

Job Description: She / he is a person who works at the front desk of a hotel,, greeting and assisting
guests. Receptionists are typically responsible for everything from helping people make reservations to
managing available rooms, issuing room keys, and solving any problems that may arise during the
course of a stay. In most cases, he or she is the first person that guests will interact with at the hotel,
which makes the role one of somee importance.

Front Office Supervisor

Job Description: Front Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that consistent high quality
customer service is delivered. This individual provides guidance and leadership for the front office
staff; a minimum
imum of one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
General Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description: General Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for: providing maintenance repairs to
resort units, public areas and administrative offices: repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating,
cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and
window repairs. Requirements include: a working knowledge of refrigeration; air conditioning;
electric; plumbing; kitchen equipment and other mechanical devices; ability to meet the physical
demands of the position, such as heavy lifting, working on ladders, and standing or walking for
extended periods of time.

Restaurant Cook

Job Description: She / he is responsible for: preparation of food “to order” for the hotel restaurant;
ensures consistent quality; and follows IHR’s Standard Operating Procedures and Food Safety
procedures. This individual is required to be detailed oriented, works well in a team environment and
enjoys serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.

Housekeeper

Job Description: Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and
other assigned areas. Requirements include: the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment; remain on
one’s feet for extended periods of time; and an individual who is team oriented and dedicated to
providing excellent service and ensuring that IHR’s highest cleanliness standards are met.
Houseperson

Job Description: Houseperson is responsible for: ensuring the cleanliness of guest floor corridors,
foyers, stairwells, and public areas; assisting housekeepers in maintaining IHR’s high standards of
quality; stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies; and emptying housekeeping carts. This
position requires the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment and remain on one’s feet for extended
periods of time.

Chief Engineer

Job Description: The Chief Engineer is responsible for: maintaining the entire hotel facility; including
physical building structure; all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment. This
individual ensures the upkeep of guest areas and maintains an attractive hotel. S/he manages all
rehabilitation, expansion and special projects. Five years experience as an engineer, with engineering
experience in hotel environments preferred; obtainment of any licenses or certificates as required by
law is required.

Host / Hostess

Job Description: Host/Hostess works as part of a team to ensure that IHR customers receive excellent
customer service. S/he is responsible for: greeting and efficiently seating guests in a restaurant that is
properly maintained; supervising all staff; and maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the
dining room. Requirements include: knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations; written and
verbal English language communication skills; the ability to remember, recite and promote the variety
of menu items; and the ability to effectively solve customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and
positive manner.

Human Resources Coordinator

Job Description: Human Resources Coordinator assists in the development, implementation and
administration of human resources functions, including associate recruitment and development,
benefits administration and associate relations.
