JPSME vs PSIM

Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME) and Pambansang Samahan


ng Inhenyero Mekanikal (PSIM) are both organizations desiring for the growth and development
of Mechanical Engineers.
JPSME aims for the purpose of uniting and enjoining the mechanical engineers in the
pursuit of continuing professional growth is committed to fulfill its objectives, which are: to
maintain the integrity of the profession, to promote excellence in professional practice, to
contribute to the enhancement of science and technology and economic growth of the country
and to promote fellowship and cooperation among mechanical engineers and instill nationalism
among members while PSIM is a new organization aiming take the lead in uplifting professional
growth and assuring your development in following the rule of law, with integrity, honesty,
transparency and accountability.
The two organizations are both the same in the concept of wanting for the growth and
development with each having different approaches towards their goals. JPSME has been around
for quite a while achieving many feats and PCIM, a new organization aiming to do the same.
With both trying their best to develop the Mechanical Engineering profession, the future seems
to be having more options and flexibility for the engineering profession.
Joining either of these organizations will provide mechanical engineers a way to interact
and learn from their peers, allow them to be more updated with the latest advances in technology,
attend conferences and be able to experience the value of meeting experts in the same field. With
either the two, interactions between fellow engineers would provide a good experience.
