Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my keen interest in the Advisor position at IPA's Right-Fit Evidence Unit (RFE),
as advertised. With a solid background in data analysis, research methodology, project
management, and consultancy, coupled with a passion for evidence-based policy-making and
international development, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to IPA's mission of
informing more effective policymaking and promoting data-driven decision-making in the
international development sector.

In my previous roles, including as an Early-Stage Researcher at Vanguard Economics, a Graduate

Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, and a consultant at various organizations, I have
honed my skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, research proposal development, and project
management. My academic background in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in Data
Science and Machine Learning, has equipped me with superior analytical, quantitative, and
conceptual thinking skills, which I have successfully applied in various research projects and
consulting engagements.

As a Consultant, I have had the opportunity to work closely with clients from diverse sectors,
providing tailored solutions to their data analysis and research needs. My experience in consultancy
has further enhanced my ability to offer technical guidance, coaching, and training to partners on
various aspects of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), including data collection methods,
survey instrument creation, data management, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.

I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to contribute to IPA's impact potential by actively engaging
in new project design, scoping meetings, and methodology development. My entrepreneurial self-
starter mindset, adaptability, and versatility, combined with my strong multi-tasking skills, make me
well-suited to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Furthermore, my passion for international development and my commitment to stakeholder

engagement and partner management align closely with IPA's goals. I am eager to establish and
maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and collaborate effectively across IPA
teams to ensure the success of RFE engagements.
