Subject: Request for Conducting Reappear Examinations for BA-LLB (5 year) Students.

Respected Sir,

I am writing this application on behalf of all the students who have been declared
reappear in different subjects in BA-LLB course to bring to your attention to a matter of great
importance concerning the eligibility of BA-LLB students for the post of Civil Judge (junior division) in
subordinate judiciary. As a dedicated student of the BA-LLB programme at K.C Law College Jammu, I
would like to request your kind consideration and intervention in addressing a significant issue that
affects several students in our course.

1. That the “Civil Judge (junior division) in subordinate judiciary” vacancies have recently been advertised
after a prolonged gap of nearly five years. This opportunity is highly anticipated by many aspiring law
graduates, including myself. However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that a considerable
number of students in our batch have been declared 'reappear' in different subjects across various
semesters.
2. That the declaration of 'reappear' in these subjects has placed them at a disadvantage when it comes to
pursuing career opportunities such as the Civil Judge post. Many of these students have worked
tirelessly to complete their coursework and have shown remarkable improvement over the years, yet
they remain ineligible to apply for the Civil Judge vacancies due to the 'reappear' status on their
transcripts.
3. That considering the gravity of the situation and the aspirations of these students, I, on behalf of my
fellow affected students, humbly request your office to consider conducting reappear examinations for
all the semesters in which students have been declared 'reappear' or atleast conduct 3 rd semester
examination. This step would provide an opportunity for these students to rectify their academic
deficiencies and enhance their chances of eligibility for the Civil Judge vacancies.
4. That conducting reappear examinations may involve additional administrative efforts and resources.
However, it is important to recognize that this action would benefit the affected students for their
lifetime.

It is therefore requested to your goodself to kindly conduct re-appear examination of

BA-LLB students of all semesters or atleast 3 rd semester before the preliminary examination of Civil
Judge which is scheduled on 08-10-2023 so as to make the students eligible for the examination.

I shall remain highly thankful for this act of kindness.
