CHAPTER ONE

fgy Phm

The sun was setting as the

Mystery Machine neared the Air
and Space Museum.

“I can’t wait to brush up on my

space flight history,” Fred said.

“I want to see the huge models

of the solar system,” Velma replied.
OceanofPDF.com

“And don’t forget about the space

rocks!” added Daphne.

“Like, Scoob and I are all about

that astronaut ice cream!” Shaggy
exclaimed.

Just then, thick fog rolled in.

A glowing, skull-headed spaceman
appeared.

“Zoinks!” Shaggy yelped.

Fred swerved the van away from
the foggy phantom. The vehicle
turned down a dirt road that led to
an old farmhouse.

“Look!” said Velma as she pointed

to a shadow in the window.

“Maybe whoever lives there can

help us,” Daphne said.

“Let’s check it out,” said Fred.

But when the gang piled out of

the van, the figure in the window
was gone.

“Like, maybe this place is haunted!”

replied Shaggy.

“ruh-roh,” Scooby-Doo whimpered.

“What are you doing here?” asked
a gruff voice. It was grumpy farmer
Henry Bascombe.

“We were headed for the museum

and made a wrong turn,” Fred
explained.

“Stay away from that place!”

warned Mr. Bascombe. “It’s haunted
by the Spooky Space Kook!”
OceanofPDF.com

“Jinkies!” Velma exclaimed.

“That’s what we saw in the fog!”

“Rhat’s right!” barked Scooby-Doo.

“We’re Mystery Inc.! We will solve

the case of this spook from outer
space in no time,” Fred said.

CHAPTER TWO

-sPe hse

It was night when the Mystery

Machine arrived at the Air and Space
Museum. The director, Dr. Skoufalos,
greeted the gang.

“I’m so happy to have visitors,”

she said. “That ghost is bad for
business.”
OceanofPDF.com

“We’d like to ask you some

questions about it,” said Velma.

“Let’s walk and talk. I can show

you around,” replied the director.

“This is the Apollo 10. It was used

for a test run before the first Moon
landing,” Dr. Skoufalos said.

“Groovy!” Fred exclaimed.

OceanofPDF.com

“And this is what astronauts wear

in space,” the director said.

“It looks like you lost one, Doc,”

Shaggy pointed out.

“Jinkies!” Velma said. “That was

what the Spooky Space Kook was
wearing!”

Suddenly, the lights went out.

A glowing ghost appeared and let
out a high-pitched laugh.

“Zoinks!” Shaggy screamed.

“It’s the Spooky Space Kook!”
OceanofPDF.com

Velma tripped and lost her

glasses. Daphne grabbed her
flashlight, shined it around, and
found them. They were right next
to glowing footprints!

“Follow those footprints!” Fred

yelled.

The footprints went to a broken

fuse box. Velma fixed the fuse box
and turned on the lights. Just then,
there was a loud scream.

“Jeepers!” Daphne cried. “That

was Shaggy!”

CHAPTER THREE

Shaggy and Scooby-Doo ran for

their lives. The Spooky Space Kook
was right behind them.

“Like, this close encounter is too

close for comfort!” Shaggy yelled.

“Ruh-huh!” Scooby agreed.

OceanofPDF.com

“I’ve got an idea,” Fred said.

“This way!”

Daphne and Velma followed him

up the stairs. They watched Scooby
and Shaggy run into a room with
large models of the solar system.

The Spooky Space Kook was still

chasing them!

Daphne crawled across the

catwalk to the Moon model. She
used a pocketknife to unscrew the
bolts holding the big rock.

“Ready!” Daphne called.

“Hey guys! I’ve got Scooby

snacks!” Velma shouted.
OceanofPDF.com

Scooby froze in his tracks.

“Rooby Snacks?”

The Spooky Space Kook

tripped over the stopped dog.

crash!

“Now!” Velma yelled at Daphne.

Daphne let the large prop drop.

smash!
OceanofPDF.com

“Like, this is the first time the

Moon landed on an astronaut
instead of the other way around!”
Shaggy laughed.

“Rhat’s right!” Scooby said.

OceanofPDF.com

“Thank you for catching the

ghost,” Dr. Skoufalos said.

“Our pleasure! Now let’s see

who this ghost really is,” said Fred.

He pulled off the helmet to

reveal Farmer Bascombe!
OceanofPDF.com

“By scaring away visitors, the

museum would be forced to close,”
the villain growled. “Then the land
would have been mine—if it weren’t
for you meddling kids!”

The police took Mr. Bascombe

away. Scooby-Doo and the gang
headed to the cafeteria.

“Like, all that running sure made

me hungry!” Shaggy said. “And this
astronaut ice cream is out of this
world!”

“scooby-dooby-doo!”
