A researcher with severe visual disability is looking for an assistant.

Persons who are dedicated,


sincere, sensitive and honest need only apply.

Essential skills required:

1. Excellent demonstrable proficiency in spoken and written English.


2. Excellent demonstrable proficiency in using word processing and presentation software
such as Microsoft Word, Pages, PowerPoint, key note.
3. Excellent demonstrable proficiency in using reference managing software such as
Mendeley and Zotero with an understanding of different citation styles in research
manuscripts.
4. Excellent demonstrable proficiency in conducting literature searches and locating full
texts online.
5. Proficiency and discretion in using MS Office.

These are additional points I am looking for:

1. Masters level education - preferably in psychology/ social sciences or Bachelor’s level


education in life sciences.
2. Awareness of basic statistical methods.
3. Ability to tabulate, present and interpret results.
4. Some research and publication experience (including dissertation)
5. Proficiency and discretion in using platforms such LinkedIn, Google Scholar, PubMed,
PsycINFO, ResearchGate, Doodle, Google docs, Google sheets, Google Slides,
PowerPoint, SPSS, remote desktops, Zoom and Adobe

- A trial period of 2 month will be conducted prior to finalizing for a minimum engagement
of 11 months.

- Work will be online for parts of the day on all days.
