TNM STAGING
T1: tumor less than 3 cm no effects on the lung or chest
structures
T2: tumor more than 3 cm reach ( not invade ) the pleura or
reach the bronchi in a distance of more than 2 cm from carina
or causing localized collapse .
T3 : tumor of any size that invade either the pleura , or chest
wall or diaphragm or pericardium or invade the bronchi in a
distance less than 2 cm from carina or causing complete lung
collapse.
T4 : tumor of any size that invade the mediastinal structures (
any mediastinal structure including the great vessels , heart ,
spine, or tumor with malignant pleural effusion .
N0 : no LAP
N1 : ispilateral LAP involving only one group of lymph
nodes .
N2 : ipsilateral LAP multiple groups
N3 : contralateral LAP
