Recommended Surface All lumber should be stored on the premises in dry
Preparation warm rooms to prevent absorption of moisture. The
amount of moisture contained in a piece of wood is
referred to as "moisture content" and is as a
percentage indicating relative weight of the water in
the wood compare to its own dry weight. Wood
expands as it absorbs and shrinks when it loses it.
The moisture content of wood changes with the level
of moisture or humidity in the air. The moisture
content of wood at the time it is ed should be
approximately 5-8%.
All surfaces should be sanded smooth. Each
subsequent sanding should use a finer grit paper
than the previous. A typical system would involve
using 100 grits followed by 150, 180 and touch up
with 220. The spread between grit sizes should be
close enough so as not to leave sand scratches from
the first sanding that cannot be removed by the next.
All sanding dust must be removed by using either a
tack rag or a blast of clean air from a spray gun.

Recommended Surface : Wood

Preparation Must be clean, dry, and finish sanded. Moisture
content should be 6 to 8%.

Cleaning Solvent : Novalux Thinner 896

Applications : Reduction:
Reduction with Thinner 896 is normally 1 : 1 ratio
Application by :
Conventional Spray : 18 - 20" Ford Cup 4
Airless Spray : 20 - 30" Ford Cup 4
Wood Finishing System:
1. Seal with Novalux NC Sanding Sealer 1360, air
dry 30 minutes.
2. Sand with 220 grit paper and remove all dust.
3. Topcoat with Novalux NC Clear 1460, if needed
then apply second coat for more build.
4. Allow to dry before packing.

Storage & Handling : The product should be ideally stored in a cool and
well ventilated place, protected from heat and direct
sunlight. Containers must be kept tightly closed
before and after use. Handle with care.

Packaging : 5 & 20 liters.

Shelf Life : 12 months @25°C
