- Their perception about the roles of media in daily life is that it is used for different things.
Communication, learning, entertainment and more. It is mostly used for communication and
entertainment since media is a medium in which we are able to get or gather info’s. It is the
sender of the things we need to know and our source of communication for our loved ones from
far away.

Learning Task 2

1. How would you be informed of anything now?


- There are tons of ways to be informed of anything now. But mostly, people are informed of
many things now through media or using media.

2. What ways would you have to communicate with one another?


- The ways to communicate is by talking to another person either in real life or through media
using social media platforms.

3. How would you share information and communicate news and events?
- I can share information about news and events by spreading it to other people using technology.

4. What would happen with the decisions you usually make?


- My decisions depends on what the situation is, so if there is a change in what I decide to do, I
will find a way and adjust it to the decision that was made.

5. How would it affect the way you live?


- By using different types of media nowadays, it will really affect my lifestyle since our world is
already dependent on technology. What we do includes using technology so it will have a big
effect on the way we live.

6. What would you personally miss most in such situation?


- I will miss my childhood days since my world was not revolved around technology, I enjoyed
playing outside, exploring the wild, and enjoyed nature. I was fond of not using technology
every time that’s why I enjoyed my childhood days a lot.
7. What would society miss in this situation
- Without technology, society would miss what are the recent happenings especially updated
news. Through media, we are able to get updates from recent happenings in the world.

Learning Task 3

1. For me, these are fake since it is only based on a post by someone and there are no credible
sources seen from any of these posts. It is only based on opinion and they did not do any fact
checks when they posted this.

2. No, not all news and information across the internet are true. That’s why you should search it up
online and make sure it is from a credible source and not only from some opinions. Most people
get tricked of this fake news without even doing a fact check if this was based on some credible
articles or not.

3. Anybody can post new items online as long as they have access on it. Some people have their
own social media platforms and websites in which they are free to post anything they want.

- The guide question helped me as a journalist since it became easier for me to think of what
topic I should present and what are the things I need to do. It gave me an idea on what are the
things that should be included on my proposed journal and what are the step-by-step directions.
