Ways in which God speaks.

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes,
the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the
man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

 Dreams/visions - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

What level are you on, are you obedient there, every time you obey, he reveals the next step?

john 10: 27-28. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them
eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Good speaks always we just don’t understand or perceive, He said my sheep so everyone can just
not everyone can understand and just because everyone can’t doesn’t mean he is speaking. THERES
NO SUCH THING AS GOD IS NOT SPEAKING CLEALY. The issue is on or end to know his voice and
distinction from others

If God speaks and is not the author of confusion? Why am I confused?

WHY YOU CAN’T HEAR GOD

1. You are trying to hear God like a human. HE is spirit. God can use your ears but doesn’t
need them to speak-(fig tree).
-still small voice is inside you/prompted to do something (my experience). God doesn’t
change his was for man but we conform to him. He is the same yesterday or foreve, he
does his will he is God. JESUS IS THE WORD NOT THE SOUND.

My experiences (wasn’t a sound). banky, death, I just keep quiet and pray.

2. You are not aligned with his will, align yourself with his will you will not hear Him.
Remember whether we hear him or not pray or not he is still God.
3. The voice of God is not translated its interpreted (check patters, you can be around people,
(my experience, anger, frustration).
4. Inner man is not developed. As a result of not being in Christ or no study, or relationship.
-1 Peter 3:3-5. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing
gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the
[a]incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
 - Your inner man is your receiver. If your receiver is out of sync, you will miss God. You are
born again now what? Just last week I was studying who is a Christian we get ahead of
ourselves. Don’t even know who or whom we belong to.
5. Deception that God only speakers to perfect people
6. We don’t respect or adhere the 5 fold ministry (they are towers for Gods network).

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors,
and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of
the body of Christ:
- Spiritual roaming 1 Samuel 3 vs 1-10. The network you are subscribed to determines what
you will here and how you will hear (the benefits of roaming - visions, healing (sent his word
healed the disease) prophecy, pastors’ teachers(speaking through the word), Dreams).
- This is not to say God cannot speak to you, but you learn from experience. Seek advice
spiritually up not down.
7. No communion/relationship with the Holy spirit. “He will tell you”. Have you read on the
one God said he will leave behind for you?
John 14:16
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you
forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not
see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

"But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, 'Where are You
going?' "But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the
Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. read more.

John 16:13
when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He
will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will
tell you what is yet to come.
8. You don’t esteem the word of God

mouth more than my necessary food.

Hearing/perceiving/understanding his voice begins with positioning yourself. How to position

yourself.

1. Spend time in prayer/take prayer time seriously. How can you hear the voice of someone you
do not talk to. Turn off and put off anything and pray. You are religious about work, tv, series,
gym, talking to other people, friends, but not about God/Holy Spirit. Relationship with God.

 2. Concentrate yourself. Consecrate means putting yourself in a position to be led by the spirit,
living sacrifice, set apart/let Gods will rule. You are in the world not of it when people see
you, they must see God.
3. Be mindful and acknowledge God in everything you do, when you are always aware God is
with you that awareness allows him to speak to you or rather you to hear him (I will never
leave you or forsake you). It shows your receiver is always ready.
PC-stop saying something told me. RECOGNISE HIM
4. Have a movable, teach able heart, Can God shape you into what he needs you to be-
remember he resists the proud. One step he reveals the next
5. Having the mind of Christ- (mind is the will, emotions thoughts.) it’s not just about declaring
it. But if you do not reject everything else that’s lifts itself above the word of God you will not
receive his Mind/The mind of Christ. It means something else is already occupying that
place. Control your mind (cast down every thought) if you allow bad thoughts to flow
through you how will you get Gods thoughts? You must shut them out to receive the mind of
Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6

strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the
knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and
being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
6. Meditation of the word. The devil has built fortresses/stronghold in some people’s minds.
How can you cast them down if you don’t know what’s in the word?
PC- there are so many voices
- ultimately what you meditate long enough on is what you listen to0

7. Communion with God the holy spirit. (Draw close to me)

PC-The holy spirit lives in you for a reason the Holy Spirit is God.
MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE its not all about just about sound its embedded in you – perceive
him. The voice of God IS recognised by your spirt.
If you don’t spend time with somebody you are not in a relationship with them. How can
you recognise the voice of a person you don’t talk?
- I suggest you start studying about him. Don’t just look for feel good messages.
Afternoon devotional *STILL ON Character*

you can't carry your old traits/habits/character that did not serve you at the previous stage into a
new door, A new vision or new strategy.

Ephesians 6:11-18

We need to be able to stand in this new vision. Character helps you maintain the blessing and elevate
to new levels. It doesn't mean the evil they will not come; you will be tested for every level you
elevate or move to. Even if it was a setback to help you elevate you will be tested to see if this time
around you learnt the lesson. So you have to be fully equipped in the armour of God.

James 1:4-8

"Let patience have her perfect work", It got me thinking what is this work?

The work of patience that is persevering through something is God removing something that is
wrong or impure about us to make sure you learnt the lesson or he making sure we learn something
new about our faith or about the level we are in.

E.g if you have anger issues, are lazy, cannot concentrate, have no patience, doesn't manage time,
procrastination, etc or if Jesus is you’re not everything mean while you say it a lot...They/it why
show!

We are being shown what's in a heart the flaws in our character so we can change and be better.

Job 23 vs 10” but he knows the way that I take when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Fire (trails/tests) are to ensure we are purified not to make us suffer. Patience works are to ensure we
come forth as gold it shows us the impurities hidden in us so we can work on them!
