**Hardware** refers to the physical components of a computer system. Here are the main parts:
- **Central Processing Unit (CPU):** The brain of the computer, responsible for processing
instructions.

computer.

- **Input Devices:** Includes keyboard, mouse, scanner, etc., used to input data into the computer.
- **Output Devices:** Includes monitor, printer, speakers, etc., used to output data from the
computer.
**Software** refers to the programs and operating systems that run on the computer hardware.
- **Operating System (OS):** The main software that manages hardware and other software

- **Applications:** Programs that perform specific tasks (e.g., Microsoft Word for word processing,
Google Chrome for web browsing).
- **Drivers:** Specialized software that allows the operating system to communicate with hardware
components.
- **Booting:** The process of starting up a computer and loading the operating system.
- **File Management:** Organizing and keeping track of files and folders on a storage device.
- **Installing Software:** Adding new applications to the computer system.
- **Internet:** A global network connecting millions of private, public, academic, business, and
government networks.
