FEATURES

Mandala Generator PRO is a tool for Illustrator that lets you to create pixel perfect
mandala with ease. A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in
form and can contain both geometric and organic forms. With this tool you can create
unlimited mandala designs simply choosing from 70 premade patterns and combine
them using your creativity! Very easy and fun to play with, Mandala Generator PRO do
not need any skills from you. Just install the tool and play!

All you need is Adobe Illustrator

No additional programs to install.
Once these Actions are loaded, they will remain in Illustrator until you remove them (if
you ever do). They will always be accessible with just a click of the mouse. There’s no
third-party software to install.
Actions work with you directly inside Illustrator, so you never have to leave your
project environment.

Which version of Illustrator is required?

This tool needs Adobe Illustrator CS5 or higher.

This action is multi language?

English version is highly recommended.

I’m not very good at Illustrator, can I still do this?

Absolutely. As a matter of fact, our tools are designed for the Illustrator beginner. You
can achieve excellent quality results the first time using our tool.

SETUP

Please before start create a new document and be sure the follow panels are showing
in your workspace:

- Actions
- Brush

Load the Actions

In Actions panel click the icon in the

top right corner and select Load
Actions. Select the action file Mandala
Generator PRO - Actions.aia. Click
again in the top right corner and select
“Button Mode”.

Once you load the actions in your

Illustrator workspace you don’t need
to do this step again.

Run the tool

Go to File > Open and select the template file Mandala Generator PRO -
Template.ait. Now you can see that the Brushes are loaded in the panel and you can
use the template to start your mandala.

The Action Panel

In this panel be sure to activate the “Button Mode” clicking in the top right corner of
the panel and choosing “Button Mode”.

- Start New Mandala

This Button creates the first Mandala ring. Every Mandala needs to start from here.

- Duplicate Ring
This button duplicate the selected ring.

- Grow Ring
This button grows the diameter of the selected ring by 5%.

- Shrink Ring
This button shrinks the diameter of the selected ring by 5%.

- Rotate Ring
This button rotate the selected ring by 22.5, 30 and 45 degrees.

- Grow Pattern
This button increase the size and decrease the number of pattern elements inside the
selected ring. The ring size will not be affected.

- Shrink Pattern
This button decrease the size and increase the number of pattern elements inside the
selected ring. The ring size will not be affected.

- Cleanup Lines
When you’re happy with your mandala this button convert it into strokes.

- Thicker Stroke / Thinner Stroke

Once you have cleanup the lines you can increase or decrease the size of the strokes
using these buttons.

How to use Mandala Generator PRO

You can create your mandala simply using the Actions Panel and the Brush Panel
together. The Brush Panel lets you to choose between 70 presets, the Actions Panel is
used to edit the presets. Create a new mandala using the related button and a new
ring will appear in the center of the page. From the brush panel select a pattern then
you can edit rotating or shrinking / growing it. When you’re done with the first ring you
can duplicate it and keep selecting patterns and modify them until you’re happy with
the result. Finally use the cleanup button to finalize you mandala.

Troubleshooting and support

Sometimes the final result couldn’t be what you expect. It depends on several
variables. To minimize your problems with this action please:

I. Following the instructions at chapter 2. Prepare your photo and 3. Set your
Photoshop to english

II. Do not use too small or too large photo. A great range is from 1500 to 4000 px.

III. Avoid using too dark or too bright photos.
