About the FDP

School of Mechanical Engineering (SEMC) is organizing a Five Day Faculty Development
Programme (FDP) on the topic of Materials Processing and Characterization. This FDP is
organized for faculty members and Teaching Assistants. The FDP is a mix of theory and
hands-on experience. The topics covered in FDPs are as follows.
Day 1 : Polymer Processing
Day 2 : Metals Processing
Day 3 : Characterization of Materials
Day 4 : 3D Printing of Materials
Day 5 : Thermal Analysis
