Project 1 : OneSource Platform Modernization (Aug’ 20 – Till date)

Client : Thomson Reuters (Own Product)

Role : Sr. DevOps Engineer

Tools : AWS Cloud-native CI/CD services, DataDog, AWS Lambda, JFrog

Responsibilities
o Designed AWS cloud-native CI/CD using Code Pipeline and Code Build and led the
implementation and automated DORA metrics tracking
o Improved DevOps culture by embedding DevOps engineers in development teams, and built
Site Reliability Engineering team, and led the initiative for operational readiness.

Project 2 : OneSource Platform Data Center Migration (May’ 19 – Aug’ 2020)

Client : Thomson Reuters (Own Product)

Role : Sr. DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
o Thomson Reuters as per the organization growth must exit from the existing data center
and move to Amazon Cloud.
o Onboarded project with the goal of migrating entire project from data center to AWS which
included the environments DEV, QA, SAT, UAT, PROD and respective DR setup (Prod is
across three different regions in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Americas)
o Successfully migrated three complex applications from on-prem to AWS in multiple
production regions

o Document the architecture diagrams and runbooks for the existing on-prem infrastructure
and components that included servers, load balancers, GTM’s and infrastructure pre-
requisites.
o Provisioning infrastructure using the golden AMI’s across all environments in all regions.
o Migrating the project without downtime to existing setup by using the interim URL’s setup.
o Handling the risks and issues that occurred due to migration from legacy style to robust cloud.
o Integrating with product teams who use the Platform as their launch pad. This is a hybrid
integration as product teams are on both data center and cloud environments.
o Retiring the old practices of redirecting the product and home URL’s using ZUUL and replacing
the same with NGINX which is best approach for reverse proxy.
o Involved in the Cost Optimization workshop and proposed/acquired knowledge in best
utilizing the amazon resources to better optimized in cost to company.

Project 3 : PBM Platform Governance (May 2018 – April 2019)

Client : Government Health Care Solutions, Conduent Clinical Programs

Role : DevOps Senior Specialist

Tools : GIT, BitBucket, VSTS, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, AWS

Responsibilities
o Led the SCM Team on Architect level in creating repositories, branching, and merging for all
the applications in the project as the Version Control Tools are not same across the project.
o Identify the respective build tools based on the programming language used for multiple
applications. It involves creation of Project skeleton which makes ease to build tools.
o Capturing the continuous feedbacks from the resources who are handling SonarQube and
Nexus Repository Tools, plan the corrective actions.
o The respective feedbacks from code analysis tools and monitoring tools are shared with the
end customer which is a pre-requisite before the project kick-off.
o Responsible for identifying issues prior to validation, reduce defects, reduce regression
issues, improve code quality, enforce code standards, ensure code changes integrate
without breaking tests, attain desirable test coverage, Enable rapid change.

o Configuring Jenkins as a common CI engine to build and promote applications to DEV, QA,
UAT and STAGING to Linux environments.

Role : Development, Remote Monitoring and Validation

Responsibilities
o Analyze and interpret large datasets from live locomotives, provide preliminary analysis
report about the trip.
o Involved in the Trip Tracker for an OEM which captures opportunities from field, identify
hardware or software failures, report the status of fault fixing back to OEM.
o Data segregation activities and categorization against the status of locos daily which gives
the availability calculations.
o Report the trends using the data coming from locomotives to warehouse against occurrence
of faults, fuel usage, trip times and OEM based.
o Daily monitoring of I-Based Products in Revenue Service to support Rx Repair Practices,
Availability Calculations and Root Cause investigations.
