As a parent, I have seen firsthand my child's talents, struggles, and goals. I am hoping that with your

academically and socially.

Thank you for your time and commitment to our child's education.

trying to keep up with their peers. I am hoping that together we can create a plan that will help my child
succeed academically and build confidence. I want to thank everyone for their dedication to my child's
education.

Local Educational Agency (LEA) Representative: PRINCIPAL:

today. I understand that these meetings can be challenging, but they are an essential part of ensuring
that every student receives the support they need to succeed.

As the principal of this school, I want to assure you that we are committed to providing every student
with a high-quality education that meets their unique needs. We have an amazing team of teachers,
support staff, and administrators who are dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential.

I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Calicdan for their partnership and commitment to their child's education.

With that said, I am here today to offer my support and assistance in any way I can. Please don't hesitate
to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. We are all in this together, and together, we
can help Ralph achieve his full potential.

Let's continue to work together to create a plan that meets Ralph's unique needs and helps him succeed
both academically and socially. Thank you again for being here today, and let's get to work.

and socially.
As an outside agency, we have experience in working with students with unique needs, and we are here

may face and reach his full potential.

General Education Teacher: Good morning everyone.

My name is Ms. Erdine, and I am Ralph's general education teacher. I am honored to be a part of this IEP
meeting and to have the opportunity to work with Ralph.

Ralph is a wonderful student who brings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to our classroom. He
is an active participant in class discussions and always strives to do his best.

However, as a general education teacher, I also recognize that Ralph faces certain challenges. I have
noticed that he struggles with reading and writing, and I understand how frustrating this can be for him.

That's why I am here today, to work with all of you to create a plan that will help Ralph overcome these
challenges and succeed academically. I believe that with the right interventions and support, we can
help Ralph develop the skills he needs to excel in these areas.

I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Calicdan for their commitment to their child's education. Your involvement
is crucial to Ralph's success, and I am grateful for your partnership.

I also want to express my appreciation to the special education teacher, Ms. Malou, for her hard work
and dedication to Ralph's education. Her expertise and support have been invaluable to our team.

I am committed to working with all of you to ensure that Ralph receives the support he needs to achieve
his full potential. Let's work together to create a plan that meets his unique needs and helps him
succeed both academically and socially.

Thank you for your time and dedication to this important process.

SPED teacher:

Good morning everyone.

MS. MALOU:

Thank you all for being here today. I am truly thrilled to be a part of this journey for Ralph Calicdan. As a
special education teacher, I understand the challenges that students with unique needs face. But I also
know that with the right support, every student can succeed.

Unfortunately, Ralph cannot be here in person for this IEP meeting. As you all know, Ralph requires
specialized support and accommodations to thrive in the educational setting. Unfortunately, due to their
unique needs and challenges, attending this meeting would be overwhelming and potentially distressing
for them. We must approach this situation with empathy and understanding. Ralph may not be present
physically, but his voice and needs remain at the forefront of our discussions. We are here to advocate
on his behalf and ensure that their educational experience is as inclusive and supportive as possible.

Ralph is a bright and curious student who has so much potential. I have seen firsthand his determination
to learn and his eagerness to participate in class. However, I have also seen him struggle with certain
areas, such as reading and writing.

That's why I am here today, to work with all of you to create an individualized plan that will help Ralph
succeed both academically and socially. We can provide him with the support he needs to build his
confidence and overcome any challenges he may face.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Calicdan for their unwavering support. Your
partnership is invaluable, and together, we can continue to empower Ralph to reach new heights.

Let's work together to create a plan that meets Ralph's unique needs. I am confident that with your

INT. SCHOOL CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

A mother sits at a table, surrounded by teachers and school administrators. They are holding an IEP
meeting to discuss her child's individualized education plan.

MOTHER:

Thank you all for being here today. I appreciate the opportunity to discuss my child's needs and how we
can work together to help him succeed.

TEACHER 1:

Of course, we're here to support you and your child in any way we can. Can you tell us a bit about your
child's strengths and challenges?

MOTHER:

Well, I think my child is a bright and curious student. He's always eager to learn and asks a lot of
questions. However, he struggles with attention and focus, which can make it difficult for him to
complete assignments and stay on task.

TEACHER 2:

Yes, we've noticed that in class as well. Have you noticed any other areas where he might need some
extra support?

MOTHER:

Yes, I think he struggles with reading and writing. He seems to get frustrated when he can't keep up with
his peers, and I worry that it's affecting his confidence.

TEACHER 3:
Thank you for sharing that with us. We can definitely work on providing him with some additional
support in those areas. Have you considered any outside resources or support for him?

MOTHER:

Yes, I've been doing some research on tutoring and other programs that might be able to help him. I'm
also willing to work with him at home and provide any additional support he needs.

TEACHER 1:

That's great to hear. We're all here to support your child's education and help him succeed. Let's work
together to create an individualized plan that meets his unique needs.

The meeting continues as the group works together to create a plan that will support the student's
individual needs and help him succeed in school.
