B. Challenge Trophy
C. Penalty
1. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any college/institution and all
decisions on judging are final and non-negotiable.
2. Violation of any rules will not be tolerated. Students who are guilty of this, run
the risk of their college/institution being disqualified from the competition
altogether. Relevant authorities will be notified if there is a violation of law.
Annex A-2
B. Video Recording
1. Recording should be done either using a head-set mic or using a microphone mounted
on a stable structure to achieve good audio quality. This reduces the likelihood that the
microphone will move around during recording.
2. Be mindful to minimise background noise. If you can hear the noise just by standing and
listening, it will be much worse on the recording.
3. Avoid recording in rooms that have a discernible ‘echo’.
4. If the audio input to your recording device allows you to select the sampling rate, choose
16 KHz or higher. If it allows you to select the digital audio sample resolution, choose 16
bits or higher.
5. Do the video recording in a brightly lit place for all recordings.
6. Do a quality check of the videos before sending us an electronic submission.
• Submit competition entries for Short Film by 20 March 2024, Wednesday, 11:59pm.
• A link with regards to the submission of competition entries will be sent later to
college/institution upon registration.
• ASRJC may organise for Preliminary Judging on 23 March 2024, Saturday if there
is an overwhelming response for this category.
