Safer Manager

Key Accountabilities
 Work Closely with Country head H&S and plan actions to be carried out according
to the policy and objectives of the company.
 Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance corporate Health and Safety
(H&S) and social responsibility initiatives for investor industries.
 Design and implement comprehensive safety protocols aligned with local
regulations and international standards to have investors compliant to the
regulation.
 Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance H&S
awareness and capabilities among industry personnel.
 Provide expert advice and guidance to investor industries on H&S regulations, best
practices, and compliance requirements.
 Conduct regular consultations and assessments to identify risks, gaps, and
opportunities for improvement in H&S and social aspects.
 Facilitate skill development and capacity building initiatives to empower industry
stakeholders to manage H&S and social responsibilities effectively.
 Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the
effectiveness of H&S and social initiatives.
 Conduct regular assessments and audits at investors facilities to identify potential
hazards and areas for improvement.
 Serve as the GDIZ primary point of contact for investor industries regarding safety,
health, and social initiatives.
 Conduct regular meetings and communications to engage stakeholders to drive
various H&S and social initiatives.
 Liaise with regulatory authorities to get them involved in inspections &
certifications.
 Develop and implement PPE management system for all investor industries to
ensure 100% compliance.
 Design and implement the grievances management at the zone level and ensure
workforce welfare and grievances resolution.

Minimum Qualifications
 Possess good influencing skills, leadership qualities and able to work
independently.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and
influence stakeholders at all levels.
 Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a
fast-paced environment.
 Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and make data-
driven decisions.
 Oral and written professional proficiency in English and French.
 Able to prioritize and operate under tight deadlines.
 Ability to work independently and proactively with minimum supervision and
guidance.
 Have social background, knowledge with international standards is a plus.
 Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking
abilities
 Advanced Microsoft Office skills
