You have recently been appointed as the Human Resources Manager at "Mega Media Productions," a vibrant and cutting-
edge media production company located in Cape Town, South Africa. Mega Media Productions is celebrated for its
innovative multimedia projects and a diverse team of creative professionals. Your role as the HR manager entails a
comprehensive range of responsibilities aimed at optimising the workforce and fostering a stimulating and collaborative
work environment.
In your role at Mega Media Productions, you will work closely with the company's leadership and other managers to ensure
that HR functions are in alignment with the organisation's overarching vision and values. This includes overseeing various
aspects of HR, including recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and performance management.
Mega Media Productions is currently grappling with a high level of employee turnover among its creative professionals. The
dynamic and competitive nature of the media and entertainment industry, combined with the demanding creative work
environment, has led to frequent departures of top talent. This has resulted in increased project delays, decreased
