Leak Test Procedure of Glass Canopy

Purpose

The purpose of this test is to establish water leak on Glass Canopy

Test Apparatus

1. Hose
2. Pressure washer Machine with pressure Gauge - 30psi
3. Water Container (Drum)

Theory of Procedure

The tests will be conducted in accordance with Glass Canopy for leak testing.

Water Leak Test Procedure

The test procedure as provided herein.

A water spray of uniform pressure loads to be applied at the specified rates with calibrated
pressure gauge.

1. A glass window test assembly shall comply w/ a.) Though b.) Below at the conclusion of the test
procedure described.
Gap shall either remain secured or maintain the securement of the gap component.
A sample shall show no evidence of progressive leak from w/in or between any of the
components of the assembly.

2. The test is terminated when the glass window test assembly does not comply w/ the
completion of A designated water pressure holds for 5 minutes where no leak failure has
occurred.

3. Repairs or modifications, except to stop leakage along the periphery, are not to be made to
assembly during the test.

4. All horizontal or vertical movement of assembly of components during the test is to be

recorded and noted.

Interpretation of the results. (Passed or failed)

5. Acceptance criteria

- Acceptance criteria - Comply with QAQC Checklist during inspections. There must be at least
5mm discrepancy based on tolerance.

- Quality assurance and control testing procedure

- For inspection, for handover to the Personnel in charge at the area.
