 Introduction:

Briefly introduce Bertrand Russell and the main thesis of his essay "Why I Am Not a
Christian."

 Your Position:

1. Main Arguments: Present and elaborate on the main arguments supporting

your position, using evidence, examples, and logical reasoning to support
each point. Clearly state your own position on the matter. Do you agree or
disagree with Russell's arguments against Christianity (or specific aspects of
his critique)?

2. Response to Russell’s “Why am I not a Christian?”: Engage directly with

Russell's arguments, addressing specific objections or critiques raised in the
text and providing reasoned responses or rebuttals. You can argue for
Christianity (or a specific aspect of it), find some middle ground, or offer a
nuanced perspective.

Supporting Arguments:

1. Defend your position with clear and well-reasoned arguments.

2. Use evidence from the text to support your claims about Russell's arguments. You
can also incorporate outside sources (philosophy, religious texts, historical context)
to strengthen your position.

Counterarguments:
1. Anticipate potential counterarguments or opposing viewpoints and offer responses
or rebuttals to strengthen your position.
2. Acknowledge and address Russell's main arguments against Christianity.
3. Explain why his arguments don't convince you, or offer alternative viewpoints.

Conclusion:

Briefly summarize your main points and reiterate your thesis, and highlight the
significance of your position in relation to Russell's critique.. You can also discuss the
broader implications of your stance on the importance of faith and reason in human
life.
