QUARTERLY NARRATIVE REPORT

I. OVERVIEW OF MUNICIPAL/PROVINCIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS


The assigned PDO of SLP EO70 at South Cotabato outline the following outputs for the month of September
2023;

 Proposals were already submitted in the regional office with complete attachments
 From the original endorsed list of 267 Former Rebels from the office of Enhanced
Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) 225 participants (clean list) was identified
qualified to receive the Livelihood Settlement Grant worth P 20, 000.00 from SLP.
 From the original list it was known that there are double entry names, some were already
served under SLP and others has no JAPIC certificate.
 225 comes from different 8 municipalities of South Cotabato. (See table below)
 Payroll and master list were already forwarded in the regional office and had personally made it
signed to ARDOs office
 AFP was requested for official partnership with SLPA PAMANA and EO70 for close monitoring of
SLP Association and was confirmed that there’s directives of partnership from the battalion of 39th IB of
Charlie Company.
 Attend ABC meeting to pay courtesy call to all Barangay Chairman in the Municipality of
Tampakan, to further initiate proper partnership and involvement in any target projects of
Sustainable Livelihood Program in the Barangay.
 Gives update to the office of Municipal Mayor (Tampakan) regarding the status of SLPA
monitoring for logistics support and other essentials.
 Had pay a courtesy call and gives update to the Municipality of Tantangan and Tampakan with
target participants of Former Rebels for GAA 2023 (LGU and MSWDO)
 augmentation to SLP PAMANA to carry out the Financial Literacy and MEDT II training
activities GUMR and others.

III. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS


A. Updates on EO 70 Implementation
 Cebuano Community SLP Association had fully utilized the fund and soon schedule the
official turn and ribbon cutting ceremony of SLP association.
 Payroll and master list for Livelihood Settlement Grant -of Former Rebels were already
signed and submitted to finance office.
 LSG-FR pay-out was proposed to be schedule during Peoples Organization Summit of
ECLIP provincial activity altogether with the receiving unit of AFP and PNP
 SLP associations of Tampakan particularly in Barangay Palo and Pula Bato already started
the withdrawal activity from their bank accounts.
 Official turn over and ribbon cutting ceremony of all SLPAs for GAA 2023 will be schedule
right after the election
 PDO is looking for an SLPA candidate to be endorsed in the municipal mayor and
Governor’s office to be rewarded as Top Performing SLP Association, Most Active SLP
Association and Best SLPA president.
B. Updates on Partnership

As of September, partnership was initiated in the Municipality of Tampakan, Tupi, Tantangan and
also with the receiving unit of Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) and 39 th Infantry Battalion,
Charlie Company of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. RMFB for Former Rebel participants as
well as 39th IB of AFP for the close monitoring of SLP association both PAMANA and EO70 targets.
Working PDO of DSWD and stakeholder main goal is to provide in the right time necessary social
protection plans and services to the participants from conflict-affected vulnerable areas such as in
the provision of interventions, cash fund grant, case management and referral services, and
resource augmentation and technical support, among others.

The Department is hopeful that with the collaboration with AFP-PNP, other agencies and
stakeholders in the EO70 implementation will strengthen the peace-building initiatives of the present
Administration, especially in reaching the unreached community, far from economic growth,
calamities and conflict-stricken communities.
