I came across a recipe titled, “margarita chicken” and initially made me think of
margarita pizza. I have been cooking a lot of chicken recently, so I’m always
looking for ways to make chicken taste delicious whilst remaining healthy.
Personally, I love pizza and margarita pizza is more refreshing as it is flavorful, but
also light on the stomach. This recipe was very simple, and I liked it because the
chicken was very versatile. You could pair it with salad (which is what I did), or
pasta. Next, I wanted to cook some salmon, but I found that last time the salmon
was a little bit dry since it was only seasoned with salt + pepper. I want to start
experimenting with marinating my meat because supposedly, it’ll add lots of
flavors and ensure that the meat is moist after its cooked. Honey garlic is one of
my favorite flavors (plus it's an easy marinade to make and includes common
household ingredients), so I decided to try a honey- garlic salmon recipe which I
paired with salad and wild rice to tie in that mediterranean lifestyle. Overall, these
recipes were easy and delicious. I think others will enjoy them too!
