Instructions to candidates
Candidates appearing for the GITAM (Deemed to be University) examinations are required to strictly observe the
following instructions
1. Candidates with Institute identity cards and hall tickets will only be permitted into the examination hall.
2. No candidates are allowed to enter the examination hall 10 minutes after the commencement of the examination and will not be permitted to leave
the hall till the end of the examination.
3. Candidates without a photo on the hall ticket need to affix a recent passport-size photo, which the respective HoD/Hol shall attest.
4. Candidates should carefully fill out the relevant columns in case of a blank OMR Booklet.
5. No additional answer sheets will be issued. Candidates shall write answers on both sides.
6. Question numbers must be mentioned legibly in the left-hand column only
7. Use only a blue/black ball pen for writing answers. The invigilator must attest to the changes in the ink's shade by the student during the
examination.
8. Hand over the answer booklet to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
9. Candidates should not write any matter, identification mark, appeal, symbol, etc., anywhere in the answer booklet, if found be treated as malpractice
and liable for disciplinary action.
10. Candidates in possession of any forbidden material, programmable calculators, other electronic gadgets and exchange of any devices be treated
as indulgence in malpractice.
