COMPANY’S BRIEF HISTORY

The Founding of Anito Sports Company

In the bustling municipality of Sibulan, a young sports enthusiast Mr. Anito had a vision that

would change the game forever. It all began in the summer of 2024 when Mr. Anito, noticed a

gap in the market for innovative sports conducting methods. Determined to make a difference, he

set out to create a company that would revolutionize the way people approach every sports. Mr.

Anito expanded his services to include event planning, venue management, and marketing

support. As a passionate one, he recognized the need for a more organized, efficient, and

enjoyable tournament experience for players, coaches, and spectators alike. With the resources of

Mr. Anito, he continues to strive giving people a fair and just management of every game the

company handles.

Job Description:

General Manager: Is responsible for overseeing the entire business operations of the

company. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing business strategies, and

ensuring that the company meets its goals and objectives.

Assistant Manager: Provides support to the General Manager. This includes assisting

with day-to-day operations, coordinating events, managing staff, and overseeing various aspects

of the business.

Director of Marketing: Is responsible for developing and implementing marketing

strategies to promote the company's events and services. This includes managing advertising

campaigns, developing promotional materials, and maintaining relationships with media outlets.

Director of Operations: Is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the

company. This includes overseeing the planning and execution of events, managing staff, and

ensuring that all events are executed efficiently and effectively.

Event Manager: Is responsible for planning and executing individual events. This

includes coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring that all aspects of the event

are executed smoothly.

Details: Looc “Inter-purok” Bounce Battle Royale: The Ultimate Basketball Clash is a sporting

event that helps the youths develop their skills, maintain their healthy lifestyle and promotes

sportsmanship. We come up with this tournament since the result of the gathered data through

survey that is conducted in our barangay shows that 44.7% of our respondents prefer this kind of

tournament. With this form of activity, it encourages youth to build friendships, become active,

promotes a fair play and create a peaceful and harmonious environment. Basketball is one of the

famous and a well-known sport around the world. It helps individuals become physically

healthy, improves mental toughness and decision-making abilities. Through this game it can also

lead to greater social interaction and teamwork skills. Overall, Basketball can be a fun and

effective way to improve physical health, build social and mental skills of an individual.

Additionally, based on our surveys 28% of the respondents (Majority) aspire to develop their

abilities and. We came to the decision that engaging youth in this sporting event is the finest

thing we can do to develop their abilities and skills, encourage sportsmanship, and provide

entertainment for the neighborhood.

WORKING COMMITTEES

• Budget and Finance Committee - The one who is given the task to evaluate the whole

budgeting capacity of the event, also deals with the resourceful and efficient budget

handling.

• Consultant - Responsible for giving an effective advice to the chairman of the program

that can lead the whole event into the expected success.

• Food Committee – Responsible for ensuring that all the expected event staff that were

promised to be given a free food will all be accommodated.

• Officiating Committee – Responsible for ensuring that the results are accurate, and that

all of the players are able to follow the event rules and regulations, and as well as the

laws of the game.

• Peace and Order Committee – Responsible for ensuring the peace of the sporting event

on and before the game.

• Awarding Committee – Task to lend the awards to the winning and non-winning tea

orderly and properly.

• First Aid Committee – Responsible for giving professional handling of first aid to an

emergency need of whoever possible injured attendee during the event.

• Program Committee – Responsible for giving a harmonious flow of a program that will

not give any in-effective delay that will ruin the flow of the whole event.

The venue of the tournament will be held at Looc, Sports Gymnasium. This will be fit for the

upcoming event LOOC “MIXED MEN AND WOMEN INTER-PUROK” BOUNCE BATTLE

ROYALE: THE ULTIMATE BASKETBALL CLASH as this was chosen and the only venue

available in the locality. It has decent specifications enough to handle a sporting event. Its

capability to shelter to any weather condition is one of the most salient features in this facility.

Comfort rooms and clinic are also available in the area. Overall, the venue is safe and

comfortable for the individuals in the event.

solidarity meeting is a soft opening of the tournament wherein the backbones of this tournament

meet and discuss important details about the event: the rules of the games and mode of the

The following are the rules and regulations of the basketball game:

1. Teams: A basketball game is played between two teams, with each team typically

consisting of 3 men and 2 women each team on the court. Teams may have additional

players on the bench as substitutes.

2. Objective: The objective of the game is to score more points than the opposing team by

shooting the basketball into the opponent's basket while preventing them from doing the

same.

3. Duration: A standard basketball game is divided into four quarters, each lasting 12

minutes in professional play (NBA) or 10 minutes in college and international play. High

school games may have shorter quarters.

4. Starting the Game: The game begins with a jump ball at the center of the court. A referee

tosses the ball into the air, and two opposing players attempt to tap it to their teammates

to gain possession.

5. Movement of the Ball: The ball can be moved by throwing, dribbling, or passing it to

teammates. Dribbling is the act of bouncing the ball off the floor while moving. Players

must not carry or palm the ball while dribbling.

6. Scoring: Points are scored when a player shoots the ball into the opponent's basket. A

made shot from within the three-point line counts as two points, while a shot made

beyond the three-point line counts as three points. Free throws, worth one point each, are

awarded for certain fouls. Additionally, men players are only to shoot in the three-point

line throughout the game and women on the other hand can do both: playing inside or

outside three point-line.

7. Violations: Violations occur when a player breaks the rules, such as traveling (taking

more than two steps without dribbling), double dribbling (dribbling with both hands

simultaneously or stopping and then starting to dribble again), or committing an offensive

or defensive foul. Additionally, men players are only allowed to play outside the three-

point line and women in the other hand can play inside and outside the three-point line.

Men are not allowed to guard women players, failed to follow this rules will result a two

free-throw on the opposing team.

8. Fouls: Fouls are classified as personal fouls or technical fouls. Personal fouls involve

illegal physical contact with an opponent and can result in free throws for the opposing

team. Accumulating a certain number of personal fouls can lead to a player being

disqualified from the game. Technical fouls are assessed for unsportsmanlike conduct or

rule violations by players, coaches, or team personnel.

9. Timeouts: Teams are allowed a certain number of timeouts per game to strategize, make

substitutions, or rest. The number and duration of timeouts vary depending on the level of

play.

10. Overtime: If the game is tied at the end of regulation time, an overtime period is played.

Overtime typically consists of additional minutes, and the team that scores more points

during the overtime period wins the game.

For the Participants

1. Players should be a resident of Looc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

2. Qualified participants for Basketball Juniors must be at the age of 16-22 for both Men

and Women.

3. Each player should provide their own jersey to be recognized while in the court.

4. Wear sports attire intended for basketball game.

General Rules

The following are the rules intended for all the participants and audience in this tournament.

1. Observe cleanliness all the time. Bring with you your trash and put it inside your bag or

pockets.

2. Respect everyone around you and enjoy the rest of the event without violating the rules

mentioned above.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE INTERVIEW WITH THE BARANGAY CAPTAIN

During the interview, I asked series of questions that is relevant to the sports proposal. The

questions I asked are also the questions found in the survey questionnaires I distributed to the

population of Barangay Looc, Sibulan. The sports that the SK is always working on are the

sports Basketball and Volleyball since it is interesting to audience. There is also allotted budget

for this sports events along with registration fees. If there are some kind individuals who give

their solicitations, they also accepted it to be add on for the budget in sports events and list them

down for proper acknowledgment. Mostly of their sports events were held during the night for

consecutive or series of weeks until the championship is done.

ANITO SPORTS COMPANYwill apply its best efforts to obtain their clients requests for

the success of their events. What is discussed during the meeting should be final and

firm.

No additional services are included including any personal requests by the clients unless

those services are expressly waived.

2. Term

Cancellation of the event is prohibited but, if necessary, the client should inform the

management five (7) days before the event or else half of the amount of the total fees will

be charged for breaking the agreement.
