Computer science students and faculty members were brought

together by the CS Trainings Seminar that began at quarter to nine in the
morning, almost an hour after its scheduled start.

The conventional AVP, composed of the Invocation, Philippine

National Anthem, and Laguna University Hymn, started the event proper
for the day. To set a positive mood for the event, the College of
Computing Studies' Dean, Dr. Marlon L. Atanacio, briefly gave his
welcoming remarks. The dean also added 500 pesos to the prize pool of
the raffle for the event. To add to that optimistic aura, is a hopeful and
inspirational message delivered by Mr. Ronnie Edec, the program chair of
the department. Games were played and prizes were given as busywork
to keep the energy of the participants while waiting for the main event to
Activity Highlight start. Afterwards, Ms. Bea May Belarmino made a wonderful introduction

then he gradually showcased MS Copilot's capabilities in various fields. His
discussion highlighted the strengths of MS Copilot in personalized learning
and how students can properly craft their prompts to gain more accurate
and much better results. After taking the photo opportunities with the
guest speaker, a 2-hour lunch break was done in preparation for the
afternoon session of the seminar.

After the break, Ms. Bea May Belarmino introduced the afternoon
session's guest speaker, a fellow LU CCS faculty member of hers and the
program chair of the IT Department, Mr. Mc Joshua De Lima. In the span
of two hours, the guest speaker was able to break down and demystify
the fundamentals and principles of game development while
simultaneously creating a simple 2D swimming game with the use of Unity
Engine (C#). To close out the event, the LU CSO adviser, Ms. Bea May

Belarmino, gave her remarks and spelt out her gratitude to everyone who
participated and everyone who helped make the event possible.

The training/seminar was a successful one. The guest speakers

fulfilled their roles in providing accurate information relevant to the
participants' field. There are times when it can be difficult to keep one's
Qualitative Evaluation attention on the speaker, especially when there are little to no pauses
over the course of their talk. Overall, the event provided a clear view of
the potential benefits of diving into new technologies and the practical
skills needed for them.
