and sampling techniques, method of data collection and data analysis.

3.2 Research Design

According to Nachimias (1985) a research design is the “blue print” that

address the problem of scientific inquiries.

Ohaja (2003) also notes that the research topic give due to the research
plan that should be adopted in order to successfully arrive at an answer to the
question posed in this study, the survey research method was used.

The research adopted this method is because it help in the collection of

data from the purpose of describing a population too large to be observed
directly by the research. Survey research method is a method or process of
getting a data for a target population through the use of questionnaires or
interview and subjecting such data to a statistical on the subject of the purpose
of researching conclusion on the subject of study and providing solution to

To ensure validity of the research instrument the researcher is present it to the

project supervisor who is look at it critically in order to ensure its validity and
point out to the researcher statements that are poorly written and those that do
not correspond with the purpose of the study.

3.7 Method of Data Analysis

Because the study is descriptive, frequency distribution technique was use for
data analysis which shows the responses, opinions, number of respondents and
their percentage.
