2.1 Design
The GOB is a capacitance graded oil impregnated paper bushing intended for immersed oil-air service. The
conductor consists of an aluminium tube. For bushings with a relatively small oil quantity the expansion
space at the top of the insulator is sufficient. For bushings with larger oil quantity the expansion space has
been increased with at top housing, or an alternative design, with an oil level glass of prisma.
The bushing can be connected to the transformer by pull-through conductors of either the flexible or solid rod
type.
