Graduate Engineer Application

 It is mandatory for university graduate to register as
Graduate Engineer if he/she wants to take up employment
as a Graduate Engineer. This is in accordance with section
7(2)(a) which specified that “A Graduate Engineer who is
registered with the Board may, subject to section 8, take up
employment which requires him to perform professional
engineering services
 General Guideline
To be eligible for this application, you must obtain the following requirement as below:

Engineering Degree awarded by Malaysia:

• Recognised by Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC).
• The latest List of Accredited Engineering Programme (Malaysia) is available in EAC
website at
https://eac.org.my/v2/list-of-accredited-engineering-programme-malaysia/

Engineering Degree awarded by Other Countries

• The recognition of engineering degree from overseas (outside Malaysia) will be based
on the accreditation given by professional body who is a signatory of Washington
Accord (WA).

Graduates with Engineering Technology Degree

• Graduate with Degree in Engineering Technology is eligible to register as an Engineering
Technologist.
Procedure of Applying Online for Malaysian

1. Register as Graduate Engineer - Online application through MyBEM website

2. Prepare supporting documents such as Degree Scroll, Transcript and IC certified by PE

3. Fill up detail information in the system

4. Submit and pay processing fee RM 50

5. Issuing of Certificate
1. Login to MyBEM portal : https://engineer.org.my/

2. Click sign up

4. Sign in
3. Fill up your particular details correctly in here

4. After completed, click sign up. You need to

verify your account by going back to your
registered email and verify it
5. Fill up your IC number and password

6. Then click sign in

7. Click Apply for Graduate Engineer
8. Select your discipline for Engineering Branch
9. Please fill up your application form starting with section A
10. Fill up your Engineering Degree for
academic qualification

11. Fill up your employment if you are

working
12. Upload your IC certified by PE of
same branch

13. Upload your Degree scroll official

transcript here
14. Finally proceed to make a payment of RM 50 for processing fee
