Project 1: Prediction of customer's lifetime value using historical transactional behaviour of the customers
• Developed end-to-end project to predict customer lifetime value using 4 Million user's data, optimising marketing, acquisition strategy
• Formulated and computed LTV across all users within a Simpl environment utilising AWS Redshift, Sagemaker, SQL queries, and pandas
• Engineered crucial features by combining, exploiting, binning, and incorporating time decay in various features from transaction data
• Built a machine learning pipeline using PyCaret and Scikit-Learn and achieved an RMSE of 0.27 and MAE of 0.34 in out-of-time testing
Project 2: To develop a robust churn prediction model using customer historical data and behaviour
• Designed a churn prediction model based on Simpl environment, harnessing historical user data to craft intelligent retention strategy
• Enhanced the model selection process by incorporating the PyCaret auto-ML library, thereby optimising predictive accuracy effectively
• Conducted EDA and used feature selection methods like Chi-test and Principal Component Analysis to identify optimal set of features
• Attained an impressive accuracy rate of 83% and an outstanding 80% F1 Score through meticulous and precise hyperparameter tuning
Data Scientist Intern | Prof. Hyun Chul | IIM Bangalore [May 2022 - Aug 2022]
• Explored the correlation between sentiment expressed in news of top 20 BSE-listed companies and financial support to political parties
• Extracted and preprocessed 30,000+ news articles from the last three months of the Economic Times archives using Beautiful Soup
• Implemented an SVM model with TFIDF transformer, trained on Stanford Sentiment Treebank, to predict sentiment in news articles
• Visualized correlation between sentiment in newspapers and their contributions to political party, as well as the newspaper's political bias

Inter-Hall Data Analytics Challenge | IIT Kharagpur [Feb 2022 - March 2022]
• Analysed the time series data using Exploratory Data Analysis and Implemented various statistical tests like T-test, Chi-test, and Z-test
• Detected various anomalies from the sales data using the Inter Quantile Range, Isolation Forest and replaced with moving average values
• Trained and tuned time series forecasting models such as AR, MA, Exponential Smoothing, ARIMA, SARIMA, Holts Winter and LSTMs
• Achieved 0.4 MAPE by fabricating a customised ensemble model including 8 forecasting algorithms and created a robust division of sales
HackerEarth Machine Learning Challenge | Resolving citizen's grievances [Jan 2022 - Feb 2022]
• Obtained 2nd Rank in HackerEarth Machine Learning Challenge Hackathon January, where the task was to predict grievances of people
• Conducted data preprocessing, utilised feature engineering, and conducted exploratory data analysis (EDA) on dataset to make it trainable
• Implemented ensemble of model finely tuned models of XGBoost, CatBoost and LightGBM classifier, with 88.733% accuracy on test set

HealthCure | All-in-one Medical Solution | Self-project [Jan 2023 - Feb 2023]
• Developed a Flask-based application to detect 7 diseases using datasets obtained from multiple sources to train multiple models
• Detected and magnified the contours in the images for improved classification accuracy in the model in the initial pre-processing phase
• Implemented CNN, XGBoost, RandomForest with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, achieving 94% accuracy through hyperparameter tuning
Vessel Detection | Bachelor’s Thesis Project | Prof. Debdoot Sheet | IIT Kharagpur [Aug 2022 - Dec 2022]
• Implemented an imaging framework that utilises deep ensemble learning to achieve robust blood vessel detection in the fundus images
• Employed a total of 12 convolutional models in PyTorch to differentiate vessel pixels from non-vessel pixels in retinal fundus images
• Evaluated over 60,000 images in the DRIVE database, achieving a Dice Score of 84% on the test set and a Jaccard Index / IoU of 0.67
