PMP® Exam
Questions
☑ 1. Servant leadership
mindset:
Always have a servant leader
mindset. Avoid those answers that
promote dictatorship.
☑ 2.Do not escalate:
Always avoid those answers that
point toward escalating an issue to a
sponsor unless it is vital. A good PM
should deal with problems and come
up with solutions. Often, options that
involve escalation are incorrect.
☑ 3. Avoid reactive
answers:
Always avoid reactive responses,
e.g responses that suggest you
replace or punish the developer
who made a mistake, because they
are often incorrect. Instead, choose
the answer that shows servant
leadership.
☑ 4. Understands PMI
Terminology:
Read the glossary of terminology in
the Agile Guide, PMBOK 7, and
Process Group Practice Guide 4. Start
using these terminologies in your
real life. It will help you master "the
PMI way" of doing projects.
☑ 5. Always be ethical:
Understands the PMI's codes of
ethics and professional conduct.
Don't choose a response if it seems
unethical. If the scenario explained
in the question is unethical, choose
a solution that resolves it.
☑ 6. Know how to apply
Calculations Formulas:
Such as; SPI=EV/PV,
CPI=EV/AC,CV=EV-AC and SV=EV-PV,
EMV= P*I, (P+4M+O)/6, (P+M+O)/3, N
* (N-1) / 2.
☑ 7. Understands roles
in agile:
Understands the roles of product
owner, cross-functional team and
scrum master
☑ 8. Understands agile
ceremonies:
Understands what happens during
daily standups, retrospectives,
planning, & review meetings
☑ 9. Look for Positive
keywords:
Favour the answer with positive
terms such as discussing, helping ,
collaborating, etc.
☑ 10. Face-to-face
communication is
always preferred:
Always favour an option that
implies face-to-face
communication, especially when
choosing the best communication
method. Face-to-face
communication has many benefits.
☑ 11.Distinguish
between a risk and an
issue:
Know when a risk becomes an issue!
RISK is a future event, and it is
recorded in a risk register. An ISSUE
is a current event or an ongoing
situation. Issues are recorded in the
issue log document.
