The student is required to select a client from Task A and refer to or sought assistance about him/her
from an appropriate person or authority in relation to variations made in the client assessment.

This is in continuation to the previous workplace assessment activity.

strategies:  To convince her to see an occupational therapist, she is provided information
about the benefits of occupational therapy in stroke rehabilitation like helping
her engage in and eventually master activities that she wants and needs to
perform.

 It will be ensured that her information will be strictly handled with


confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws

 Discussion with her is in a respectful manner and takes into consideration her
cultural background
 The close relationship of family members and community in their culture can
be used where they can help convince client to see a therapist
