Training Policy

• PRI Staff is qualifying and approving each Auditor in all


checklists to head-off issues with Auditor losses and /
or scheduling coordination issues.

AUDITOR STAFFING - STATUS

• One (1) Auditor retired as of 31-Dec-2019


• One (1) Auditor re-contracted with PRI after 1-year
hiatus - December 2019
• One (1) Auditor returning after resignation.
• Auditor Hiring on “Hold” for Past Task Group
representative and new SE.
• Awaiting approval of spending from Management
(COVID-10)

AUDITORS AND NEW AUDITOR HIRING STATUS

• Hiring on hold as we have Nine (9) M&I qualified


Auditors and are awaiting to hear of M&I mandate
updates.
• One (1) Auditor has resigned due to lack of consistent
work
• Two (2) Auditors concerned and threatening to leave
due to lack of consistent work
• One (1) Auditor contracted with another company and
will only do 6 audits per year

AUDITORS AND NEW AUDITOR HIRING STATUS

• PRI Staff has been hiring only unrestricted Auditors,


however, Scheduling has identified a considerable
number of audits that are not restricted, so…
• M&I is maintaining two (2) restricted Auditors for M&I.
• 2 Auditors not sure they want to continue due to
COVID-19 issues.

AUDITOR STAFFING

• No TG Interviews completed in 2019 or 2020 – One


(1) waiver granted for Tim Krumholz, but his hiring is
on hold until Dec 2020+ due to travel restrictions
associated with Covid-19 and pending approval of
spending.
• ICIMS (Electronic Auditor Staffing Site) is still
accepting applications and candidate resume’s in
preparation for possible hiring if work picks up.
• Auditors will be put into: “Hold for Future Needs
Status”.

STAFF ENGINEER STAFFING

• Assistant Staff Engineer

• Awaiting mandate decisions and direction. Nadcap


Management will be training a part-time M&I / CMSP
Staff Engineer in 2020-2021 to assist in closing M&I
Audits at years end+.

• When you disapprove a ballot…

• A Disapproval will completely stop a document from


further work.
• Approval with a comment will allow Staff to address
your comment and improve the document or checklist
to include your comment recommendation.
• A comment like “I agree with Larry” is not an
appropriate comment (Not value added).

• If you have a comment for a checklist ballot, please:

• Clearly reference the document and the paragraph


number
• Clearly state your issue
• Clearly state a resolution with your recommended
verbiage for the paragraph update
• Regardless of the type of change, if the change does
not affect a balloted change, your ballot comment will
be addressed by the entire Task Group at the next
Nadcap meeting

• Please remember that your vote to approve is


valuable, please refrain from waiving and know that
your review for grammar, English usage, format and
structure is valuable.

• Auditors and Staff do not count as valid voters, but


their comments are valuable and are appreciated and
will be addressed by the entire Task Group.

• Please remember that an Editorial comment is a typo


correction, English usage correction or punctuation
correction, format change or change for consistency in
other areas of the checklist.
• Please remember that a comment is only Technical if
the change will affect the Auditees ability to comply
with a requirement, such as providing additional
documentation for the auditor.
