GRADEMARK REPORT

FINAL GRADE GENERAL COMMENTS

1
Research: 1-4

Knowledge & Understanding: 1-4

Criticality: 1-4

Communication & Presentation: 5-8

/100 Great project Taylor, well researched and well

thought through. You have identified useful
sources and clearly made use of them in thinking
about the challenges of the project. The idea of
the kit itself is great and involving others in the
design process will allow you to develop your
experience further.

Clear proposal, thoughtful engagement with topic

and texts. The idea of the kit is great but could
benefit from other innovative uses of kits - some
'kit' context and potentially a sketch or outline.

The proposal is well supported through the

research carried out. It is useful to see that you
are thinking about the results being potentially
hard to gauge (it might be useful to pitch the kit as
a process rather than as an outcome - it could be
tailored to individual needs).

Well structured; although the suggested headings

haven't been followed (eg no ethical statement
which is essential for framing a project such as
this) and it is way over the wordcount. What is
presented however is a viable and intriguing
proposal for your MA work. Well done.

Indicative grade: 1-4

AB

Very clear, thorough proposal. Demonstrates very

good understanding, and practical, with a well
thought out studio proposal. I agree that this is a
good 1-4.

Comment 1
this is quite a huge task? how could you make it more manageable so that it is actually
viable as an idea?

Comment 2
Great idea and approach!

Comment 3
this might also be good to do in collaboration with Active Minds. You could also talk to the
well-being team at MDX to get their insights.

Comment 4
good sense of realism here.

Comment 5
Good - this is such a good point to be aware of
