1. Affiliate Marketing:

These are some of the best affiliate programs to make

money on Instagram:

Amazon Associates/Flipkart affiliate program: Amazon

Associates & Flipkart affiliate is a well-known source of
passive income for bloggers, but as an Instagram user,
you can use the platform too. You don’t need to have a
website to get started with Amazon associates, an
Instagram account is enough.

To sign up for amazon associates or the Flipkart affiliate

program you have to fill in some necessary details and
after signing up, you will be able to generate a link to
buy any product on Amazon or Flipkart which you can
put up in the bio of your Instagram account. You can
also put up a story or a post with a picture of that
product saying “get it from the link in bio”. And if
someone buys using that link, you will get some
commission (usually 10-15%).

Instagram creators' affiliate:

You must have seen a lot of people selling their
courses on Instagram. And those people usually have
an affiliate program i.e they will give you some
commission if you help them get more sales. You can
DM them to know if they have any affiliate system or
ask them if they can offer any affiliate programme.
Most probably they will agree.

2. Design and create content for other pages on IG:

You can get paid ₹10,000+ by creating posts for other

pages. Here's how:

Browse Instagram and find business pages with

around 50k+ followers. Could be any niche:
Entrepreneurship, motivational quotes, travel,
luxury, fitness, and so on.
Send a video/voice message (along with a text) in
DM to 15-20 pages every day.
Present yourself and promote your services.
Create 1 or 2 pieces of content using the theme of
each page selected, then send it via DM after your
video message.
Also, show your portfolio and the results you got
from your previous clients.
If they like your content then they can also hire you
as a content creator for the long term.

Difficulty: Medium-Hard. Requires a skill.

Profit: If you’re able to close 4-5 clients a month then

anywhere between ₹8000-₹15000.It totally depends
on your skills how much you will be able to earn.
When I started, I used to charge ₹250-300 per
carousel. But now, we charge ₹1000 to even ₹5000 per
post. We also charge ₹400-500 but of course, the work
is different in both cases accordingly.

3. Create highlight covers:

Instagram stories highlight covers are a great way to

make your profile look beautiful and increase its
attractiveness. But most businesses and pages on IG
don’t realize the true power of those highlight covers.

This is what you can do:

Find pages with bad or no highlights at all.

Tell them that you're designing highlight covers
and also tell them about the benefits of the
highlight covers.
Create 2-3 highlights covers for them (watermark it
and send it to them.
If they like it, sell them a bundle/group of those
highlight covers (Minimum 5).

Difficulty: Easy (you can use Canva templates).

Profit: Anywhere between ₹250-₹500 for a bundle

4. Design logo for businesses/pages:

One of the easiest ways that you can make money on

Instagram, is by designing logos for other businesses
and pages on Instagram. The process is simple:

Do some research and find pages with no logo or

very bad logos.
Tell them that you create logos for Instagram
pages and ask them if they need a new logo for
their page.
If they agree, make a logo for them using websites
like brandcrowd.com or canva.com. Make sure you
have a small watermark on the logo.
Though, experienced logo designers can charge
₹10-15k or more for a logo but as a beginner, you
have to charge less.

Difficulty: Easy

Profit: Anywhere between ₹200-₹500 for a logo.

Again, skills matter most. Some charge $5 and some
even charge $10k+.

5. Write post captions for people on IG:

Writing a well-written and well-put caption is difficult.

For this, you need to make sure that all your Instagram
posts have long, well-written captions. This is the proof.
Make sure that you have enough time.
Look for businesses on Instagram and check their posts
to see if their captions are good.

Usually, a good caption is:

Has line spaces
Has emojis (not too much)
Has a CTA (call to action)
And, is engaging with the audience.
If the page you’re looking at lacks all these in their
captions, send them a DM.

Let them know the importance of a great caption.

Tell them how they can get better.
Offer them the solution (how you can help)
Tell them that you’re a content writer who writes
captions for pages on Instagram.
Offer them your service and tell them that you can
work with them for a month.
You can give them a 2-day trial or a money-back

Writing a good bio on Instagram can be tough. And

many people don’t know-how to use it.

Find pages that want to grow but have bad or no

bio.
DM them and let them know the importance of
having an amazing Instagram bio. This is what you
can tell them: “See, your bio is the first thing
someone sees after your profile picture when they
come to your profile. And your bio is responsible
for converting profile visits into followers.” (don't
copy-paste this, tell them in your own words)
Tell them that you’re a copywriter and you’re
writing bios for many business pages like theirs.
Tell them your price and wait for their response.

7. Build websites for pages/businesses on Instagram:

Building websites has become very easy now. And still,

there are a lot of people and businesses who don't have
a website.
Now, you can help these businesses, by building a
website for them. There are a lot of tools and software
using which you can create websites. It doesn't matter
if you know coding or not. You can use Wix or
WordPress to create a website.

You can approach businesses on Instagram if you see

that they don’t have a website:
• Send them a DM
• Tell them that you’re a website builder.
• Ask them if they have a website
• Offer your services.

Difficulty: Medium (You have website builders building

tools, but it still may take some time to learn those
tools)

Profit: ₹5,000-₹1,00,000 per website

Here again, you have to improve your skills to charge
more. Not only technical skills but funnel building and
copywriting too!

8. Do copywriting for pages/businesses:

Copywriting is a skill that can help you make a lot of

money on social media. If you don’t know what
copywriting is then let me tell you that it is basically
persuasive writing. It is used when making ads or
landing pages. Here are the steps which you have to
follow.

Find pages or businesses that are running ads and

trying to sell.
DM those pages and tell them that you can help
them increase their sales through copywriting.
Those pages are usually making ads to promote
their products/services.
Help them make better ads through copywriting.
Tell your charges and close the deal!

Difficulty: Hard

Profit: Anywhere between ₹2000-₹5000 per ad as a

beginner.

9. Flip Instagram pages:

Flipping pages is one of the most underrated ways to

make money with Instagram because you don’t need
any followers to flip pages and Instagram pages with a
lot of followers (10k+) are in good demand.

People don’t want to spend time growing their pages

organically so they prefer buying an already grown
account so that they can start making money with
shoutouts.

There are websites like FameSwap, SocialTradia, Insta-

sale, TooFame. where you can buy and sell Instagram
accounts. You can also just make some connections
with people who flip pages. Approach big pages and
ask them, they usually know these people.

Difficulty: Easy.
Profit: Anywhere between ₹2000-₹10000 or more per
page.

10. Do dropshipping:

You can do dropshipping even when you have 200

followers. If you don't know what dropshipping is then
search on google/youtube first, you'll get an idea.
Follow these steps to boost your dropshipping sales:-

Create an IG account for your dropshipping

business and fill it with product posts and
entertaining materials. Don’t forget to add
CTA, and good captions.
Use IG search to find other niche-related accounts
with good followers and engagement.
Contact the owners/admins through DM/Email, ask
if they do pay shoutouts, and ask for details.
Make the payment and provide the materials for
the shoutout: A product image, a link to the
product’s page, and a short caption. Wait until your
shoutout begins. (You can also run Facebook ads).
Share the same post in your dropshipping
Instagram account. Answer comments and
questions about the product and advise where to
buy it.
Your followers and sales will start increasing!

Profit: Depends on your products. There’s no limit.

These ways will usually work if you have 500-1k
or more followers on Instagram.

11. Create a podcast and drive traffic:

Promoting your new podcast on Instagram is not that

difficult and you will gain more listeners if the quality
is good. And also, a podcast can be the next big thing!
This is how you can promote a podcast through your
Instagram account:

Share episode updates. It’s important that every

time you create a new episode and upload it, you
share an update across your social media accounts.
Share the link to your podcast in your bio
Create an eye-catching image that will draw
attention to your page and help gain more
listeners.
Tease the audience. Share a small teaser of your
podcast 24 hours before the episode is going live.
You can use the countdown sticker in your stories.
Also share behind the scenes in your story.

You can earn money from your blog and to drive

traffic to the blog, you can use Instagram.
Here are some ways to use Instagram to promote your
blog:

Introduce yourself (BIO)

Post quality and highly relevant content to your
blog.
Follow other bloggers and engage with their
content (like & comment on their posts).
Share behind-the-scenes stuff on stories.
Share teaser of your blog's content on stories and
posts with a good CTA (call to action).
Be consistent
Use IG ads to drive traffic to your page and blog.

13. Promote your YouTube channel:

Growing on Instagram is easier as compared to

YouTube. So you can grow an Instagram page in the
same niche as your YouTube channel. For example, you
have a YouTube channel where you post funny videos.
Then you can grow a meme page on Instagram
because people who are interested in memes will also
be interested in funny videos. And once you've grown
on Instagram then you can drive traffic to your channel
by putting a story or a post saying "subscribe to my
YouTube channel".

• Promote your channel in a creative way
• Use link and CTA in bio

14. Start a clothing brand & sell on Instagram:

Starting a clothing brand is not easy, and can be a

bulky task. But selling clothes on Instagram is simple.
You can do whatever you wish.

Build a website for your clothing brand (not

necessary, but recommended), you can also sell
simply through WhatsApp or Instagram only.
Open an IG account for your clothing brand.
Make it look clean, appealing, and attractive
Share content on trendy, relatable, and sharable
topics (you can share memes also).
When you get to 500 - 1k followers, start
promoting your clothing brand by sharing
pictures of your products on stories and posts.
Take shoutouts from big pages and influencers in
your niche.
Write a compelling caption on every post.
Customers will start coming!

Difficulty: Medium.
Profit: Depends on the product’s price and
positioning.

15. Create Funnels for entrepreneurs/businesses:

Creating funnels is difficult so many entrepreneurs and

businesses outsource this task. If you have the skill of
building Funnel, you can easily offer this service to
entrepreneurs that are trying to sell something but
don’t have a funnel.

Learn this skill if you don’t know it.

You can use Clickfunnels for funnel building.
Look for pages and entrepreneurs on Instagram
who don’t have websites or funnels.
DM them and tell them about yourself, how long
have you been building funnels, and how a funnel
will be useful to them.

If you love writing poetry/poems/books then let me

tell you that you can monetize this skill. You can do
shout-outs for smaller writer’s accounts.

These ways will usually work if you have 1k - 10k
or more followers on Instagram.

17. Sell story shoutouts:

If you have 1k – 10k followers, you can easily earn by

selling shoutouts to pages with fewer followers.

In story shoutout you have to mention them in your

story, they will give you the content and you just have
to put it on your story tagging them.

Usually, when you have 5k+ followers, those pages

that need shoutouts will approach you. But if you
have 1k-5k followers, you can approach a smaller
page and offer them the shoutouts.

Difficulty: Easy.
Profit: ₹200-₹500 (<10k). If you have more than 10k
followers then anywhere between ₹500-₹1000 per
shoutout

This is very similar to the story shoutouts. In this, you

have to share a post they will give you and
tag/mention as they ask. With post promotion, your
followers will follow the account which you're
promoting so make sure that their page is similar to
yours or in the same niche.

Yes, you can sell your ebook on Instagram. This is how:-

Choose a topic/subject/niche about which you've

good knowledge.
Post consistently.
Write an ebook about the topic which you choose.
Choose any payment gateway (Instamojo, Razorpay,
or any tool like gumroad) to sell your ebook
Promote it on posts and stories
Your ebook sales will start!

20. Coach /Mentor /consult people on Instagram on

specific topics:

The topics can be anything:

• If you’re a trainer, coach them about gym, exercise, etc.
• If you’re a writer, coach them about writing skills.
• If you’re a videographer, coach them about
videography.
• If you’re a public speaker coach them about ways to
overcome stage fear.
• If you’re a yoga instructor, coach them about yoga.
• If you’re a Photoshop expert, coach them about
Photoshop.
And so on...

If you don’t know what to coach about, or if you don’t

have any skills that you can teach, it’s simple:
• Search which skills are in demand
• Go to Udemy/Youtube
• Search for a course about that skill
• After a few months of new knowledge & practice, you
can teach people who are willing to learn.

it’s easy. If it’s a new skill that you have to acquire and
learn, then it can be difficult.

Profit: You can take anywhere between ₹200-₹2000 for

an hour of coaching.

Prices are different according to your skills and

experience, some experts even charge ₹10,000 per hour.

21. Act as a middle man and connect big accounts with

customers:

As you already know that there are a lot of things that

you can sell on Instagram, so, there are many big pages
or businesses that are struggling to get customers.
These are the steps that you have to follow:

Find a big page/business.

Send them a DM and tell them that you can help
them get more customers for their services/products.
If they agree, decide on the commission per
customer.
Then you need to understand what this page or
business are offering (their product/service)
Now you know their target audience.
Start looking for that audience on Instagram.
Contact them via DM and offer them the service that
this business is offering.
Then they go to that page/business to buy or you can
sell them yourself. If they buy the service/product, you
get a commission.

Difficulty: Medium-Hard
Profit: Depends on your sales skills, the product/service
you're selling and the commission you're getting.

If your page is about Instagram growth or you have

good knowledge about Instagram marketing, then you
can get clients for account management.

In account management, you have to create content,

post, and do all the things you do in your account to
grow it. (Or if they have some specific requirements
then you have to do only that)

• Approach big pages or businesses (if its a business

then the number of followers don't matter)
• Tell them that you're offering account management
• Give them a list of all the things included in your
account management service.
• If your offer is good, you'll get the client!

help them make more money, this way it will become
easier to convince.

If you know how to edit videos, then you have a very

good opportunity to earn money.

Here’s what you can do to sell your video editing

service on Instagram.
• Start posting videos which you edit.
• Show people that you’re talented and that you are
the expert.
• When you keep posting consistently, people will start
seeing your talent.

Now, you have two options:

1: Start doing coaching calls where you teach people
video editing.
2: you can sell them your video editing service.
• You can also make some sample videos, and then
DM big pages and tell them about your video editing
service.
• Some of them will be interested. You can sell those
videos at a price according to your skills.

Using Adobe Lightroom, you can edit

your photos. This is what you can do to earn:-

• Make presets (edits) for images on Instagram.

• Post it on your account or start a new page. Make
your layout look cool and clean, by using these presets.
• Upload tutorials and results on your page.
• People will start asking you for your presets in DMs or
you can put up a story saying “DM me for presets” or
you can do the same in your post's caption.

Being a real estate agent or running a real estate

business might be tough. But with the use of
Instagram, you can expand your business and get
new paying clients!

Here are the steps:

• Set up a business account on Instagram.
• Add a short & interesting bio and explain who you
are and what you do.
• Engage with your target followers (Those who are
interested in real estate).
• Create high-quality content, choose a theme and
stick to it.
• Use professional photography (to show
testimonials and other things), it is very important in
the real estate business.
• Keep posting consistently, run ads and promotions.
• You'll start getting leads.

Social media influencers get paid to promote products of

a brand as it increases their sales. That's what we call
Influencer marketing! Steps to become influencer:-

Choose a niche: The first step in learning how to

become an influencer is choosing a niche. A niche is
like a category on Instagram like fitness, fashion,
travel, business etc. You can’t be popular for
everything, so you have to choose one thing that
you’re good at or have good knowledge about. Once
you choose a niche, you’ll have to stick to it. So pick
something that you're actually good at, and not
something which you know nothing about. For
example, don't choose travel as your niche if you don't
actually travel.
Switch your Instagram to a business account; A
business account has a lot of useful tools for
Instagram influencers like Instagram insights. These
Insights tell you about the demographic data of your
followers. It allows you to identify followers’ details,
like location, gender, age. And also, audience activity
times, profile views and website clicks. You most
like/saved/shared post or post with most comments
and the post which gave you most followers. Using
this data you can improve your content by creating
similar content to that which performed better in
terms of engagement.

Write an effective Instagram bio: The bio is actually more

important than you think. It is the first thing that people
see when they come to your profile after your profile
picture. And your bio is responsible for converting profile
visits into followers. In your bio, you have to explain who
you are, what you do, how you can help them, which
type of content is there gonna be on your account etc in
a short and simple way.
Focus on your Instagram aesthetic: A good and beautiful
Instagram aesthetic can make your profile look 10X more
attractive. To make your Instagram aesthetic beautiful,
you can make a good feed them, choose 2-3 brand
colours for your Instagram which reflect your personality
and use those only and same goes with fonts.
Write captions that reflect your brand’s voice and
personality:
You shouldn't just create posts with good photos and
videos. You should also add a bit of your personality in
the caption.
Post content consistently: Check your insights and see
when your followers are most active and post at that
time. Try to do 1 post a day or if you can't manage that
then share at least 1 post in two days. But whatever you
do, just be consistent.
Interact with your followers: You have to interact with
your followers to build a community. Do Live sessions &
QnA in stories. Reply to all the DMs and answer all
comments.

Get in touch with brands: Once you get a lot of

followers (usually 10k+), you'll start getting brand
deals. Usually, you have to approach the brands. And
it is not necessary to have 10k followers to get brand
collaborations/deals. So, you can mail brands or send
them a DM on Instagram and tell them how you can
promote their products/Instagram account, and how
it will benefit them. And eventually, when you will be
growing at a very fast rate, brands will approach you!

Profit: An influencer with 5-10k followers can earn
anywhere between ₹5000-₹20000 depending on the
niche and brand deals you get.

27. Offer personalized Instagram strategies to

different pages:

You already know, growing on Instagram is not that

easy. And many pages and businesses are struggling to
grow on Instagram. This is what you can do:

• When you get to at least 7-8k followers, you can start

offering customized & personalized Instagram growth
and monetization strategies as you've already grown to
7-8k followers, you can teach them how
to grow and if you're reading this eBook then in the
future you'll be making money if you decide to take
action so you can also teach them monetization.
• Find pages with less than 1k followers.
• Send them a DM Or an email and pitch your offer.
• Tell them about yourself, tell them how long did it take
you to grow your page, and how you’re growing it now.
• Get them on call to talk about how you can help them
with a personalized Instagram growth strategy.
• Close the sale.
• You can teach them through a meet/zoom call.

Most Talked-About New Art Dealer”. So if you're good at
art and making sketches etc then you can make money
by selling your artwork.
This is how you can sell your art on Instagram:-

Make some great arts

Set up an attractive profile & learn to photograph &
use the editing tools.
Post consistently and engage with your target
audience and with your existing followers.
Identify the influencers and big pages in your niche.
Try to edit and make content like them. (Don't copy,
just take inspiration)
Track your progress (Instagram Insights).
When you make any sketch, promote your service in
the caption by saying something like “DM me to get
your customized handmade sketch”
You will start getting orders

See, Instagram Stories are used by millions of creators

worldwide. And if these many creators are using
Instagram Stories then they need to stand out, right?
That’s where you came in. You help them stand out
using templates.

So, first of all, if you don’t know what templates are

then let me tell you that they are pre-made designs
that can be customized. Like if you have a template
then you just have to change colours, fonts etc and add
text. (Templates can be made in canva or in
photoshop). Here’s how to sell templates:-

Start using the templates that you want to sell in

your own stories.
Your templates should be unique and attractive.
People will start asking you how to make those.
Then present your offer.

Pro tip: Send your templates to influencers/pages with

10-50k followers for free. They will probably tag you
when they use it in their stories and you’ll get more
exposure.

Just like selling a course, paid workshops are also one of

the best ways to make money if you’re able to make a
good framework and provide enough value in your
workshop. Here are the steps you’ve to follow:-

Strategise a workshop about something which

you’re good at.
It can be anything. Business, fitness, stock market
etc.
With the paid workshop, also offer a freebie on your
landing page.
Tell the contents of the workshop. The value should
be a lot more in comparison to the price.
Use stories & posts to drive traffic to the workshop.
You can conduct the workshop on zoom.

32. Make ads for businesses and pages on Instagram:

To grow any page on Instagram you have to drive traffic

to that page. And for that you need ads! Yes, ads are
very important. Here are the steps which you’ve to
follow:-

• Find pages that are running ads/shoutouts.

• DM/email them that you make ads for pages.
• Let them know that with your ad they can get better
results.
• If they like your offer, they’ll buy from you.

Difficulty: Hard (it’s not easy to make ads)

Profit: Anywhere between ₹500 - ₹5000 per ad

Once you become an expert in making ads, you can

make a decent amount of money from it. It all depends
on your skill level. I usually charge ₹3000-₹5000 for
making an ad.

33. Run Facebook ads:

You might be wondering how you can earn money by

running Facebook ads, but let me tell you that if you
know how to run FB ads then there’s a very good
potential.

• Create a landing page

• Select a product which you want to sell.
• You only have to make your FB ads expenditure less
than the revenue generated by sales.
• As long as you can do this, you can earn money!

34. Teach how to run Facebook ads:

If you know how to run ads then you will also be able to
get clients by running ads. See, if you can convince
people to learn FB ads from you through FB ads then it
is proof of your credibility itself! Here are the steps
which you have to follow:-

• Make a good ad and pitch your offer by saying that you

are running Facebook ads and you can teach them how
to do the same.
• Run the ad through FB creator studio effectively.
• Get clients, teach them, earn money!

35. Grow pages and sell them:

In the beginning, I told you about flipping accounts.

Flipping accounts is faster than growing an account and
selling it.
But, if it takes you let’s say, 3 months to grow a page to
10k followers, you can then sell it if you like, for ₹2000-
₹8,000 depending on the niche and engagement.

Or, you can keep growing it, and at the same time grow 2
more accounts (you can hire someone to create content
for your pages if you cannot manage to create content
yourself). You can grow all 3 of these accounts to 40k or
50k each, and sell each of them for ₹30,000-₹50,000. This
income is not passive, but as soon as you get this income
you can invest it to grow more pages and sell them.
See, it isn't as complex as it seems. You can just automate
the process. If you're willing to invest you can hire a
content creator to create content for you and you can
approach big pages to do paid promotions and
shoutouts for you or you can also run ads so that you can
grow more. You can also hire an account manager. In this
way, all your process will be automated, you just need to
pay for promotions, content creation and account
management. This process can be a little risky if you're a
beginner but once you manage to grow a page then you
can apply this because you'll know how things work on
Instagram.

You can run a paid giveaway or a contest on your

page and charge an entry fee from participants. Here
are the steps which you have to follow:

• Host an interesting giveaway with an interesting

prize for the winners.
• You can give different rewards to the top 3 winners.
• Charge some fee from every participant.
• For example, the entry fee is ₹100 and the prize
money is ₹1000, then even if you get 30-40
participants, you’ll earn good profits.

37. Manage DMs & comments for influencers:

Big influencers don’t have time to manage their DMs

or comments. They usually hire someone else to do it
for them. To filter out the DMs (leads, potential
clients, and people who just wanna talk). For this, you
need good conversation and sales skills. Here are the
steps which you have to follow:-

• Find influencers with more than 100k followers

• DM them and ask them if they are working with a
team or alone.
• If they don’t have a team then offer them your
services.
• Tell them how having someone to manage DMs and
comments can help them.
• If they like your offer they will buy it!

38. Create & sell a course:

Creating a course is similar to doing coaching calls but

it's a little more difficult.
You need to be an expert at what you’re doing.
You need to have at least 10k followers because this is
when people start taking your page seriously.

Though you can also sell the course before reaching

10k but it's recommended that you should sell a
course after you reach 10k followers.

You can create a course with good knowledge about

anything. You need to record videos of yourself
speaking about that topic and you need to build a
community and know how to sell it.

39. Sell your merchandise:

You might have seen many pages selling products

(usually t-shirts and hoodies) with their logo (or
whatever they want to print) on it. That is what you call
merch.
Mostly meme pages or creators in meme niche sell their
merch.

Here’s how to sell your merch:-

• Grow your account community to at least 10k followers.
• Keep in mind that you not only have to grow followers
but build a good community. Only then your followers
will buy from you.
• Design a creative and attractive merch
• Sell it using any website (eg. Shopify)
• Sales will keep coming if you keep posting consistently!

It is also affiliate marketing but I would suggest you

do this after 10k followers. Here are the steps you
have to follow:-

• Go to resell section.
• Pick a product of your niche.
• Promote it in your stories and posts.
• Earn commission!

If you’ve successfully grown a page to more than 10k

Instagram then you can also start your own social
media agency.

• Think of a name for your agency

• Create a business plan and structure.
• Determine your pricing models.
• Acquire clients.
• Start hiring people as your clients increase.
• Keep growing your agency!
