PROJECT PLAN
 PROJECT BRIEF:
The purpose of this project is to create an awareness among students about “INTERNET
SAFETY or E – SAFETY”, why is it important, its advantages, its risks and its preventions.

 TIMELINE ANS GUIDANCE:

This project needs to be completed in two weeks. Students will work on this project at
school and related tasks might be given as homework. Each student will participate in a group of
six students. Student will discuss and seek help from their relevant subject teachers, library,
computer lab and family.

 DISCOVERY PHASE:
 Research the topic using the internet about E-Safety, Importance of E-Safety, E-Safety
Risks and E-Safety Risk Preventions.
 Research the topic by using kiddle.com a safe site for students.
 Choose any one topic of E- Safety Risks :
1. Cyberbullying [Class – 3 and 4]
2. Invasion of privacy [Class – 3 and 4]
3. Friendship with strangers [Class – 3 and 4]
4. Identity theft [Class – 5 and 6]
5. Phishing [Class – 5 and 6]
6. Spoofing hyperlinks / webpages [Class – 5 and 6]
7. Offensive content [Class – 7 and 8]
8. Faulty privacy settings [Class – 7 and 8]
9. Catfishing [Class – 7 and 8]
 Identify different E-Safety issues around their surroundings.

 STRATEGY PHASE:
 Structure the gathered information in logical orders (contents of topic)
 Brainstorm the flow by showing bubble diagram / Mind map.

 DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT:
 Select a technology tool to accomplish the task.

 DELIVERABLES CHECKLIST:
1. A document identifying E-Safety issues.
2. Make a poster chart by pasting different topic related pictures cutouts, symbols and
statements in your class.
3. Make a worksheet for observing learning status.
