I. Brush up the vocabulary (Ch. 1-11), make use of it in the sentences of your own.
II. Listen, read and translate into Russian in writing (p. 125) “The door closed. … at Kirrin
Farm!”.
III. Find English equivalences to the following word combinations; remember the situations in
which the author used them.

VI. Do the tasks on p. 129.
VII. Change the sentences on p. 121 from direct into indirect speech.
VIII. Be ready to reproduce the dialogue between George and the father from pp. 122-
123.
IX. Make an outline to be used as a foundation for the retelling in the form of disjunctive
questions.
