POLICY FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF THE CONSUMPTION OF


ALCOHOL AND PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

ONGC Videsh Ltd. Colombian Branch, in order to prevent, improve and preserve the well-being of
employees and their quality of life, this policy has been established, which also seeks to achieve a safe
and healthy work environment, has declared its workplaces free of tobacco, alcohol and psychoactive
drugs; in accordance with Colombian Legislation and aware of its responsibility to its workers,
contractors, subcontractors, clients and communities; for which, ONGC Videsh Ltd. Colombian Branch
undertakes to:

▪ Carry out guidance on the risks involved in the consumption of these psychoactive substances
through activities to prevent consumption and addictions derived from it as a contribution to
health and well-being.

▪ In the offices and operational areas, smoking must not be done, not only for health, but also for
safety, since all people have the right to a healthy work environment free of contaminants.

▪ In the field, specific areas for smokers will be designated, which do not represent a risk to the
health of other people and which do not represent a risk to the integrity of the facilities and
equipment.

▪ Possession, use, transport or trafficking of illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages, being under their
effects when reporting to work, during work hours or while in operational areas or offices is
prohibited. The person(s) detected to be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs will not be
allowed to enter and/or will be removed from the facilities in order to minimize the risk of injury
to themselves, others collaborators or cause damage to the property of the Company or third
parties. The person(s) who, when carrying out the breathalyzer test, yield positive results, in
accordance with the internal work regulations and the Substantive Labor Code Article 60, numeral
2, failure to comply with the aforementioned obligations constitutes a serious offense to the
employment contract and therefore is ground for its termination with just the cause.

▪ ONGC Videsh Ltd. Colombian Branch, reserves the right of admission to its work facilities to the
people of any contractor company, or subcontractor who have resulted in a positive breathalyzer
test or who have been found to be under the influence of any illicit drug. Any disciplinary action
by the contractor/subcontractor companies to their employees is the sole responsibility of the
contractor in accordance with its internal work regulations.
