1. Where can I find details on the reimbursement procedure?


The policy is available in Benefit Online platform at Fixed Benefits -> Eyeglasses reimbursement.

2. Can I benefit from the service if I am on a long leave (e.g. Childcare leave)?
No, only active employees are eligible. This is aligned with the purpose of the service which is
supporting employees with corrective devices while working on a computer.

3. Can I get reimbursed based on an ophthalmological consultation from a provider of my choice?


No, it is mandatory for employees to have also the results of ophthalmologic examinations carried
out as part of labor medicine examinations (occupational health check/ medicina muncii)

4. Can I get reimbursed for contact lenses or it has to be eyeglasses?


Yes, corrective contact lenses included.

5. Can I get reimbursed for other products related to eyesight (utensils, eye drops, etc.)?
No, only corrective eyeglasses and corrective lenses.

6. How do I find out if I have an 'optical correction'/ "corectie optica" recommendation on my


occupational health medical certificate (fisa de aptitudini)?
• For Regina Maria - you can access and download the document from your medical
provider account: Regina Maria– document linked to your last occupational health appointment.
• For Medicover - you should have received the latest document via email after your last
occupational health check appointment, on the email address you have used to create your
Medicover account (Accenture or personal).

7. What do I do if I don’t have an 'optical correction' recommendation on my occupational health


medical certificate (fisa de aptitudini), but I wear/ need eyeglasses?
You will need to schedule an appointment with the labor medicine doctor to try to get an updated
certificate with the mentioned ‘optical correction’ recommendation needed, if the case (either via
the provider's platform/app or via the provider’s call center).
For the appointment you will need the required certificate (‘fisa de risc’) from your employer. To
request it please do so via Accenture Support -> Ask HR, selecting Employee information ->
document request.

8. How much time do I have after the purchase of corrective eyeglasses/lenses to ask for a refund?
You can ask for reimbursement at any point after the corrective eyeglasses/lenses have been
ordered as long as you do not exceed the limit of 500 RON & 1 request/year.

9. Can I purchase the eyeglasses/ lenses from any provider of my choice?


Yes
10. What documents do I need for the reimbursement request?
You will need to have an invoice (“factura fiscala”) issued on your name.

11. Can I cumulate multiple invoices to reach the maximum amount?


Yes, if for example you have separate invoices for corrective lenses and frames, or multiple invoices
for contact lenses. The condition is to only submit 1 request per calendar year.

12. Can I make multiple requests in one calendar year if I didn't request reimbursement for previous
years?
No

13. How much will it take to get an HR approval after I submit the request in SharePoint?
It depends of the number of requests and access to available documentation (medical certificate).
Please allow up to 5 working days to get a response.

14. How much it will take to receive the money in my bank account after submitting in MyTE?
Around the 25th (so by end of the current month) for submissions between 1-15 of the month.
Around the 10th of the next month for submissions between 16-30 of the month.

15. What happens if I make a refund request in MyTE and I don't receive the reimbursement in the
specified time frame?
Raise a ticket via Ask T&E.

16. Will I get a notification if my request has been denied?


Yes, including the reason for rejection.

17. How do I fill in the MyTE fields when requesting the reimbursement?
You can find details in the policy with steps and screenshots on how to fill in the information.

18. What should I do with the receipt/ invoice after uploading it to MyTE?
If you have a physical invoice on paper (rather than an electronic one) you will also have to bring
the invoice to the Office reception/ MyTE collection box in maximum 30 days from the date of the
request. Check the procedure for details on how to do that.

19. Are there any optics where I can get eyeglasses/ lenses with a discount?
You can find discount codes in Benefit online platform under Benefit Club -> Accenture discounts
-> Optics (15% off at Lensa), and Benefit Club-> Discount vouchers -> Medical & Health (various
other optics)
