Statement of Purpose

Dear Members of the Admissions Committee,

I am writing to express my strong interest in enrolling in the master’s program in Subject Name at the University
Name. With a background in Business Administration and over a decade of experience spanning financial
institutions, fin-tech, and banking sectors, I am eager to contribute meaningfully to the academic and professional
environment of your respected university.

My name is Bushra Ferdous. I am determined and passionate to enhance my expertise and make significant
contributions in the realms of Business and Information Systems. My diverse academic background, ranging from
introductory courses in business to in-depth studies of my focus subject, along with my professional journey, has
equipped me with a diverse skill set such as, critical thinking, strategic problem-solving capacity, ever learning
enthusiasm and rich experiences. I am eager to further cultivate and apply within the framework of the Applying
University Name. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Leading University, Sylhet, and a
master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Independent University of Bangladesh, with a focus
mainly on marketing. Despite this specialization, the program provided me with a robust foundation in various
business facets, including strategic management, Business information systems and financial management, which
helps me to reshape my career and my commitment to academic excellence.

I wasn't born a genius, but as I grew up and began to observe the world around me, I possess a natural ability for
comprehension and logical problem-solving. Over the past twelve years, I have gained wide-ranging working
experience within the financial sector, assuming versatile roles across financial institutions, fintech enterprises, and
in banking sector. These roles have sharpened my analytical insight, strategic thinking, and prepared my capacity
to navigate elaborate financial development. Focusing on centrally customer data management and maintenance
management, customer’s credit reporting to financial institutions regulator site, furthermore initiation stage of
product development of customer onboarding portal, Customer development and maintains process development
and noteworthy projects. Different projects and areas of work experience sharpened my skills within the financial
industry.

I have been a leading light in the development of an online platform aimed at facilitating landing processes for
micro, small, and medium enterprises, an initiative that deepened my understanding of industry dynamics and
emergent trends within a mere three-month timeframe. Which helps small to medium business owners secure
loans from financial institutions or banks quickly with minimal documentation. Finally, my current banking job has
strengthened my analytical, data management, strategic development, and problem-solving skills. Client
transactions which require special care in the banking sector to ensure legal and fair procedures are followed in
every transaction. Here, my strategic thinking, data identification, and analytical skills emphasize the importance of
the industry.

Furthermore, my tenure in that industry has given me an appreciation for the transformative potential of
innovation and technology in reshaping financial services. Having spent a decade in different financial institutions,
I've learned a distinct preference towards pursuing another master’s degree, in Master subject name. This decision
emphasizes the realization that my professional experience, coupled with my academic background, chart a path
which is quite different from my current pursuits.

and digital payments are redefining the conventional banking and financial sector. I envision this pursuit as a
