CONSTRUCTION
Conductor Stranded annealed plain copper Class 2 as per IEC 60228.
Insulation Cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) to IEC 60502-1.
Color Code 2C: Red & Black

3C: Red, Yellow & Blue
4C: Red, Yellow, Blue & Black
5C& Above: White Core with Black number.
Cabling Cores are assembled in a concentric layer & extruded filled type sheath is provided over
assembly up to 4 core. Assembly with 5 core & above is assembled with non-hygroscopic PP
filler if necessary & wrapped with polyester tape.
Inner Sheath Flame retardant PVC Type ST-2 to IEC 60502-1 in Black Color.
Armor A single layer of galvanized steel wire armor to EN 10257-1 is applied over the inner sheath.
Outer Sheath Flame retardant PVC Type ST-2 to IEC 60502-1.The color of the sheath is as per dimension

CONSTRUCTION
Conductor Stranded annealed plain copper to Class 2 of IEC 60228.
Insulation MICA impregnated glass tape + XLPE to BS EN 50290-2-29.
Color Code Single Pair: Black & White.
Two insulated conductor are uniformly twisted to form a pair with 10-14 twists per meter.
Pair Construction
Required numbers of twisted pairs are assembled with non-hygroscopic filler and the

CONSTRUCTION
Insulation MICA impregnated glass tape + XLPE to BS EN 50290-2-29.
Color Code Multi pair: Black & White with each core numbered.
Pair Construction Two insulated conductors are uniformly twisted to form a pair with 10-14 twists per meter.
Individual Screen Aluminum backed Mylar tape (25μm) is applied over each pair with an overlap of 25% with
the metallic side down in contact with a stranded annealed tinned copper drain wire of
0.5mm2 (7x0.3mm). All pair shields are electrically isolated from each other.
Cabling Required numbers of individually screened pairs are assembled with non-hygroscopic fillers
if necessary and the assembly is wrapped with a polyester binder tape.
Collective Screen Aluminum backed Mylar tape (25μm) is applied with an overlap of 25% with the metallic
side down in contact with a stranded annealed tinned copper drain wire of 0.5mm2

Cabling Required numbers of pairs are assembled with non-hygroscopic filler if necessary and the
Collective Screen & An Aluminum (Al) foil (0.20mm) coated on up side with a protective plastic coating (0.05mm)
Multilayer Sheath is applied longitudinally over the assembly to form laminated aluminum moisture barrier
sheath. A stranded tinned copper drain wire of 0.5mm2 (7x0.3mm) run longitudinally in
contact with the Aluminum side of the Aluminum tape. A Black extruded bedding of High
Density Polyethylene compound meeting the requirement of EN 50290-2-24 shall be applied
over the Aluminum foil and shall be bonded to the Aluminum foil. Over the High Density
Polyethylene bedding, a protective sheath 0.3mm of Black Polyamide shall be extruded.

CONSTRUCTION
Pair Construction Two insulated conductors are uniformly twisted to form a pair with 10-14 twists per
meter.
Individual Screen Aluminum backed Mylar tape (25μm) is applied over each pair with an overlap of 25%
with metallic side down in contact with a stranded tinned copper drain wire of 0.5mm²
(7x0.3mm). All pair shields are electrically isolated from each other.
Cabling Required numbers of individually screened pairs are assembled with non-hygroscopic
