LEADERSHIP
And its importance

• Leadership is a set of behaviors used to help people

align their collective direction, execute strategic plans,
and continually renew an organization.

• At the highest levels, the influence of a leader, good or

bad, can resonate throughout an organization.
• It can motivate teammates and provide them with a
purpose and direction.
• Good leadership can help to establish company culture
and the developmental direction of an organization.
FR
Creative Leadership
• As Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen says, we are entering the
“Golden Age of Creativity,” and it is all about making
connections.
• Creativity is multifaceted and, particularly when talking about
creativity within organizational teams, there are five key areas
where leaders can lean on creativity to impact business success
which are culture, skills, technology, data, and experience.
• To get the most out of their teams, creative leaders need to be
facilitators in these five areas.
FR
Agile Leadership
• Agile leaders are known for seamlessly balancing competing demands,
fostering connections with team members and customers, enabling
teams to achieve peak performance, and encouraging innovation and
change. They are not afraid to take risks and rarely fear failure.
• John Travis, vice president of brand marketing at Adobe said, “We’re
learning so rapidly and adapting to change at a much faster pace. As a
result, agility and risk-taking don’t feel as foreign as they once did. It has
been a lesson in learning to let go.”
• Adobe prioritized that agile mindset when COVID-19 began and
continued to ramp up its digital transformation to meet new consumer
demands.
• The company quickly pivoted and reskilled employees and hired new
ones with new sets of skills to keep pace with digital’s demands.
FR
Collaborative Leadership
• Collaborative leadership brings managers, executives, and
staff out of silos to work together. Unlike traditional top-
down organizational models, where a small group of
executives controls the flow of information with
collaborative leadership, information is shared organically
and everyone takes equal responsibility.
• For example, people from a variety of departments, such
as human resources and marketing, are getting invited to
meetings they may not have been invited to in the past.
FR
Leader Of Adobe
CEO - Shantanu Narayen
• Shantanu Narayen is chair and chief executive officer of Adobe,
one of the largest and most diversified software companies in the
world.
• Shantanu joined Adobe in 1998 as vice president and general
manager of its engineering technology group.
• He became president and COO in 2005, CEO in 2007, and
chairman of the board in 2017.
• He is a leader who transformed a software company into a global
powerhouse in digital media and digital marketing solutions.
FR
• He is a champion of diversity and inclusion fostering a culture where everyone
feels valued and empowered to innovate.
• He is also an advocate for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability
ensuring Adobe’s products contribute positively to the world.
• Shantanu is vice chairman of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and sits on
the board of Pfizer.
• He is a past member of the U.S. President’s Management Advisory Board.
• His leadership has not only transformed Adobe but also left a long lasting impact
on the Tech Industry.
• The most striking aspect of Narayen’s leadership is his commitment to innovation
and he has fostered a culture of creativity and risk-taking at Adobe allowing the
company to stay at the Forefront of technological advances.
• His forward thinking approach has not only driven adobe’s success but also shaped
the broader Tech Industry setting new standards for digital experiences.
Thank You.
