IMPORTANT!!

**YOU MUST DROP OFF YOUR DOCUMENTS AT CARGO EXPRESO ON THE DATE OF YOUR
APPOINTMENT**

Based on the information you provided, you qualify for interview waiver service and are not required to
come to the Embassy. If you comply with all the following requirements, you may submit your visa
application package at the Cargo Expreso office chosen when you scheduled this appointment. NOTE:
If you have not answered the questions honestly, it will delay your visa application.

Read the instructions carefully before delivering your package to Cargo Expreso. If you would prefer to
be interviewed, or if it is later determined that you require an interview, you will need to contact us via
https://ustraveldocs.com/gt/gt-main-contactus.asp.

This letter is the confirmation sheet you can use to submit your documents through Cargo Expreso. It
does not represent an appointment at the Embassy. Please refrain from going to the Embassy unless
you are specifically notified about an interview via email or phone call by authorized personnel from the
U.S. Embassy.

Requirements for visa renewals:

1. _____You are applying to renew a B1/B2, C1, C1/D, or F1 visa that is valid or has expired within
the last 48 months.
2. _____You are a Guatemalan citizen or resident. If you are a resident, please send a copy of your
migratory status or a copy of your DPI for foreign.
3. _____ If renewing your B1/B2 visa, you are 18 years of age or older and you were at least 14
years of age when you received your previous visa.
4. _____You are 13 years, 6 months of age or younger, you are applying for a B1/B2 visa, and both
your parents still have a valid visa.
5. _____Your most recent B1/B2 visa is full validity, meaning that it was issued with multiple entries
for 10 years.
6. _____You did not exceed an authorized period of stay in the United States.
7. _____Your most recent visa application was not denied.
8. _____Your most recent visa has not been stolen or lost.
9. _____Your visa has not been canceled or revoked.
10. _____If you are applying for a visa with other members of your family, everyone must comply
with all these criteria.

If you comply with the requirements, above YOU MUST include the following in your application
package.
Starting on July 1, 2023, Cargo Expreso will perform a document validation process when submitting
your application at their branches. Please submit all the documentation required for the U.S. Embassy
as it is presented in this confirmation letter. Incomplete applications will not be processed, and any
additional non-required documents will be discarded and destroyed, so it is recommended not to
submit any non-required documentation.

1. Your valid passport

2. If you are a foreigner with a legal residency, please send a copy of your migratory status or a
copy of your DPI for foreigners.
3. Your previous passport contains your most recent visa.
4. A copy of this Interview Waiver confirmation sheet.
5. A printout of your DS-160 confirmation page, clearly printed and legible. Please avoid sending
any blurry, smudged, or incomplete bar codes. Please do not staple the photo in the DS-160
confirmation sheet, as this may damage the photo and render it unusable, resulting in the delay
of your case.
6. A professionally printed, color photograph, size 2x2", with a white background and no shadows,
taken in the last six (6) months. Applicants should not wear glasses in the photo and both ears
should be visible. Please refer to Photo and Fingerprints Specifications for more information.
7. The receipt showing proof of payment for your visa application.
8. If applying for a B1/B2 visa for a minor of 13 years, 6 months of age, or younger, a copy of your
parents' valid visas and your birth certificate is required.
9. If renewing a C1/D visa, a copy of your letter of employment.
10. If renewing a F-1 visa, the original of your I-20.
11. If renewing a J-1 visa, the original of your DS-2019.

Cargo Expreso will send your application package to the Embassy and return your passport to the
agency you selected.
After reviewing your case, a consular officer may determine that a personal interview is required. If so,
you will be notified via email at the address associated with your account. Please verify that your email
address is accurate and checked regularly.
