Pin the patterns to the fabric and cut along
the solid lines. Check that you have all pieces.

Serge the red lines.
STEP 3: Stitching th button placket
Pin the front pieces together as shown,
right sides of fabric together.
Stitch the front center seam from crotch
to where the button placket begins
as picture shown.
STEP 4: Stitching the front and back

Fold 1/4″(1cm) of the button placket Face the right sides of front and back together.
and fold both pieces along the fold line marked Pin on and stitch along the side lines
on the patterns. Top stitch along the each and shoulder lines.
edge offsetting 0.8”(2cm) as picture shown. Serge or zigzag red line at the edge as shown.
 STEP 5: Stitching the neck bias band
Press 1/4″(1cm) bias bindings in lengthwise.

Leave 0.8”(2cm) both edge of binding.
Working from the right side of the garment,
pin and sew binding to garment aligning the
raw edges as shown.
STEP 7: Stitching the arm hole line

1. Press 1/4″(1cm) bias bindings in lengthwise.

3. Pin the ends of the binding together at the
point where they meet, flush to the armhole.
Stitch them together at the point you marked
with the pin, keeping the dress out of the way.
STEP 6: Stitching the front & back

Fold the extra 0.8”(2cm) binding to the inside of the
romper. And fold the binding to the inside of the
romper, rolling the seam line in slightly to hide it
on the inside of the romper.
Fold the raw edge of the binding under along the
line you pressed earlier, and pin this
fold to the inside of the neck line.
Continue to press the binding to the other side.
And fold the extra 0.8”(2cm) binding to the inside
of the romper again. Topstitch the binding to the
neck line close to the inside fold.

2. Working from the right side of the garment,
pin and sew binding to garment aligning the
raw edges, leaving a each 1.2″ from the side
as shown.

4. Trim the ends of the binding and press the seam
allowances open. Now Stitch the unsewn
binding to the armhole. Trim the seam allowances
to 5mm. Clip perpendicular snips into the seam
allowance where it curves at the underarm.
 5. 5. Fold the binding to the inside of the
dress, rolling the seam line in slightly to hide it on
the inside of the dress (you can press it if you want).
Fold the raw edge of the binding under along the
line you pressed earlier, and pin this fold to the
inside of the armhole. Topstitch the binding to the
armhole close to the inside fold. Repeat on the
other armhole, and give them both a good press to
smooth out any wrinkles.
