How to determine low/high seismic

applications
• Use subsoil data and location of the
building to determine seismic design
category B, C, D
• Select framing system from Table 6.2.19
• Determine R value
– Finally, all are high seismic applications
– But high seismic may be OMF, IMF, SMF etc
