ABOUT INTEGRAL UNIVERSITY
Integral University, a seat of educational excellence, is a premier university in Lucknow, the
capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established under the Act Number 9 of
2004 by the State Government. Integral University is accredited A+ by NAAC . The University
is duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and 12B of the
UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, Indian Nursing Council,
Council of Architecture, Bar Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapists, National
Council for Teacher Education, UP State Medical Faculty and Distance Education Bureau. The
University is also recognised as a Scientific and Research Organization (SIRO) by the
Department of Science & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Bioengineering under the Faculty of Engineering is committed to apply
biological principles to biological sciences in order to develop systems and processes that will prove
to be beneficial for the society. Keeping in mind the industrial growth and importance of
bioengineering, the department has given priority to the teaching and research in the field of
Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Food-technology, Biomedical and Biochemical engineering. The
Department offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in engineering viz. B. Tech in
Biotechnology, Food Technology and Biomedical Engineering. M. Tech. in Biotechnology,
Bioinformatics, Food Technology, Biochemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering and PhD
in all the above areas.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Though the right work-life balance is difficult to achieve, personal health cannot be overlooked. As a
woman, one must understand that rest and care for oneself is equally important as work. Keeping that
in mind, this seminar will be fruitful not only in raising awareness against the various problems
regarding health faced by working women, but will also help women connect, share their problems,
and get support. It will encourage women to be as diligent towards their health and well-being as they
are towards their duties at work and home. A healthy work-life balance will go a great way in
improving one's quality of life in the personal space as well as efficiency in the workspace
OBJECTIVES OF THE SEMINAR
1. To disseminate information regarding several mental health issues, especially faced by working
women such as anxiety and depression, hormonal imbalance due to the stress of juggling work,
parenthood, and other personal commitments.
2. Emphasizing musculoskeletal problems such as back pain and neck pain, and other health issues
caused by continuous work strain, specifically in women over 40, who are more likely to be prone
to these ailments.
3. To help women realize the benefits of proper nutritional diets as it is a crucial part of maintaining
both mental and physical well-being.
4. To educate women on how to incorporate healthy practices in their day-to-day life to ensure a
proper work-life balance.
