DNA Extraction
Elena, Marikina, Metro Manila Extraction of DNA from serum/plasma, blood and tissue samples is done using
commercially available kits.

Preparation of PCR reaction mixture

• Thaw all the reagents on ice.
• Prepare the number of tubes required to perform the test. Pipette mix the master mixture
before dispensing.
• Refer to the table when running 1 sample:

• Mix thoroughly all the components in all the wells.

• Except for rotor-type machines, spin down for 60 seconds before putting in the PCR machine.
