CALMING LOVE

When my heart is pounding like the waves of troubled sea

when my soul's cast down, my spirit overwhelmed, I run to you

When my thoughts stay awake swirling like the rain in a tempest

When I toss and turn, Jesus I have learned ai can run to you

Your calming love, love speaks to my raging sea

it stills the wind and rain and lulls the wave to sleep

Your calming love brings heaven's peace to my soul

It soothes my heart and mind with songs of hope

There is a place of quite rest near to the heart of God

A place where sin cannot molest near to the heart of God

Your cakming love shows me a tranquil (pleasant) place

And makes me safely rest where quite waters play
